For being a "slick" fighter, I don't think he's boring at all. I've seen way worse. What I respect about Floyd, is that he punches with sharpness. He may be more of a defensive fighter but when he does punch, he is sharp and punches with effect. I can't stand the soft slick fighters, who like to win on love taps. They should stay in the amateurs.

Floyd really only has a handful of boring performances in his career.

De La Hoya was a chess match that a hater could call boring but really wasn't at all.

    Baldomir was finished unspectacularly.
Marquez was fought defensively for the most part.
    Castillo 2 was also uninspiring.

Aside from that, he walked Mosley down, Fought back well against Cotto's pressure, beat Hatton at his own game and stopped him, beat Judah down, went to war with Corley, outclassed Ortiz while laying some leather into him, repeatedly dropped and stopped Corrales, pummeled N'Dou. What the hell else is he supposed to do?

:lol:Show me one boring Lopez fight. The fact that he was so flawed is what made for such epic shoot-outs.

I think only 1 person can surpass FMJ in being able to suffocate his opponent's offense

    Bernard Hopkins

Still... their skillfulness and ability to do so many subtle things that add up to shutdown their opponent can be pretty compelling to watch

For the most part, Mayweather puts on a good show. He's had a few clunkers, but that's to be expected. Mayweather is not a brawler. He's not going to sit there and take unneccesary punishment. At the same time, he's willing to mix it up if he knows he can do so whlie dishing out a lot of punishment and not taking much in return.

Larry Holmes was boring, and Whitaker had his boring moments...

Lennox Lewis was boring... Speaking of which, I don't think any ATG is as boring as Wlad
