I mean, the guy's cleaned out his division, and is the CLEAR #1 fighter at 168. And before you say, "What about RJJ?", Roy didn't stay at SMW that long.

He's on a good little streak but he's not ATG status right now... he needs to stay more active after he gets back from his injury.

So, which undeafeted champ has he beat again? Kessler was already beaten by a worned down Calzaghe... Froch was already beaten by Kessler, was loosing until that haymaker in the 12th against Taylor. Everybody saw that Dawson was slow against Pascal.

Now, lets see him answer the call from GGG. GGG is calling him right now.

Ward might acheive greatness though if he beats drunk Pavlik who havent fought in five years.

Ward never fought the WBO champ from Germany how you can claim he cleaned out the division. Calzaghe was easily more dominant.

Certainly shown the skill and quality to be that guy and has the wins to show for it but he has to be more active.

RJJ wins @ 168 were much more dominating compared to any of Joes/Andres wins @ 168 . Not to mention Roy stops both of them Prime for Prime . Roy is the most greatest fighter to ever compete in the 168 pound division .

Yes, of course. It's the same guy who also beat your hero
bernard hopkins. Ward has 1 win at 168 that calzaghe doesn't.
Froch, and does anyone really beleive joe wouldn't have beaten
froch? Ward's best win was Joe's leftovers. The dawson win is
teinted. Unless you rate adonis in the top p4p:lol:

While head to head RJJ probably is the best fighter to ever fight at 168lbs his power and speed were unreal but his resume there lacks depth.

There were keys fights that should of happened that never did. The win over Toney while impressive has to be looked in context. RJJ beating Toney is like Eubank or Benn beating each other, RJJ only beat a title holder on his side of the atlantic, it was a great domestic clash but that's it, with Benn, Eubank, Collins then later Calzaghe he never proved he was best at 168lbs. It would be like Ward beating Kessler then dropping out of the super 6 and claiming he was the best while there were still fighters like Froch, Bute etc arguably being the best.

A fighter should be judged on who he fought not how he hypothetically would have done head to head. So Calzaghe and Ward in my opinion were more dominant at 168lbs. They both cleaned out the division unlike RJJ.
