Has there ever been a winner takes all fight???

i dont know about winner take all but in the old days some fights were like both boxers were garunteed 40% with the winner getting the other 20%.

i think more fights these days should happen like that

In the days of John L Sullivan this was common but I haven't heard of anything after that unless side bets are taken into account.

 

Unfortunately, the egos involved with the Pacquiao versus Mayweather negotiations will prevent such an eventuality from occuring.
