Negative as Floyd? It's beyond sad how dull his tact is are.

At least with some of the big names of our time (Tyson, Tito, RJJ etc), they were always exciting. Floyd's style is so safe that it's actually negative.

    Anyone agree?

I actually think he's gun-shy himself, but his style kind of masks that.

Weren't you all over the place claiming Pacquiao is going to win?, now Mayweather is negative for winning?. You seriously need to hang yourself already and rid us of your idiocy.

Apparently being better than your opponent and making him throw less punches than you, when you're the counter puncher in the fight, makes you negative.

This isn't the WWE you dimwit. He's not going to stand in the ring and trade punch after punch on the jawline. He's in there to A: Win, B: Use his skills to do so, and C: Get out without being majorly hurt.

The irony of you saying this isn't WWE, whilst backing Floyd, who was grappling with Manny like he was wrestling!

@ Scar - You first, you smoker of dic*s.

"Grappling with Manny" - the thing is, Manny allowed that to happen, go review the Maidana fights and see what happened when Maidana was on the inside.

EVERYONE knew Floyd Mayweather Jr would fight this way.. EVERYONE knew he would work on his counter punching and try to catch Manny coming in, then reset him with the clinch.

Why are you busily *****ing on Floyd when the loser of the fight was Pacquaio, who chose the wrong tactics, was ineffective and stunk the place out? All I really see is people who don't know sweet **** all about boxing, because ultimately, Floyd's style in this fight has been his style for his entire career - make his opponents miss, punish them when they do.

Manny 'allowed' to to happen? As soon as he got on Floyd he got clinched.

Floyd just isn't enjoyable to watch...

What did I just say? Go review the Maidana fights? Hell, even Judah did better on the clinch than Pacquaio did.

Go watch Calzaghe and what he had to do in order to beat Bernard Hopkins. That was probably the best fight for Pacquaio to watch and attempt to emulate, but he just wasn't good enough

Is Floyd the most exciting boxer ever? No. No one ever said he was. People marvel at how ****ing excellent he is and how hard he is to beat, not how big of a puncher he is. He's not Arturo Gatti.

Pea used his defence as offence, though.

    You know nothing, man.

Excellent he is? The irony of it is that his best win is against an old blown up FW.

I know nothing, yet made these posts in 2009 which are absolutely the way the fight went down.

I made both of these posts in 2009 about the fight. And now you're discrediting him for beating Pacquaio? What a ****ing laugh. This was the fight that everyone said "Would finally see Floyd defeated"

Don't be one of those sorry sacks of **** that attempts to discredit an opponent AFTER they've been beaten.

By today's standards, tons of greats. Probably all of them, haha.

Saddler, Pep, Ali, Hopkins, Calderon, Klitschko...

Even Lewis was a negative fighter, he was just blessed with huge power.
