Mag,we get it.You don't like Duran. You believe he's overrated. We get it.But some of the **** you write is absurd.Your quote,"Duran's wins over Buchanan and Moore and Barkley are good, but they do not compare to Cuevas,Benitez and Hill."Are you ****ing serious? Are you sure you want that down on record?1st off,how the **** is Pipino better p4p than Buchanan?Based on what? There is NO LOGICAL explanation for that one. There is not one victory on Pipino's record that's better than Buchanan's resume than Laguna, and how many times did Pipino lose BEFORE he met Hearns, and to whom?C'mon, you're ****ing joking, right?I'll give you Benitez over Moore, but the fact remains that Moore stopped Benitez how long after the Hearns fight? And Barkley and Hill?If you want to overrate Hill,go right ahead. But the fact remains that Barkley demolished Tommy at 160 years before Hearns-Hill,and then Iran decisioned Hearns at 175 JUST AFTER Hearns-Hill.And guess what?37 year old Duran beat Barkley, ffs.I'm just shocked that you even wrote that statement down.

Yes I am serious. Buchanan, Moore and Barkley do not compare to Cuevas, Benitez and Hill. Are you serious to really argue that they are the same quality fighters?
Cuevas was better than Buchanan. You are mentioning Laguna when he was at the end of his career when he lost to Buchanan. Cuevas had 12 or 13 title fights and Buchanan I think 4. You really think Buchanan was as good as Pipino Cuevas? Cuevas had mostly knockouts in that fight except for I think Randy Shields, but he beat Weston,Shields,Espada,Gray.

Pipino's losses before Hearns were way back very similar to Manny's loss. Not comparable. As a champion he had one loss- To Hearns when he lost his title. I am for sure saying Cuevas is better than Buchanan. Benitez is better than Moore, who had 11 fights when Duran fought him. This is the same Benitez who easily beat Duran the same year Tommy took Wilfred's WBC title - 1982. Hard to really comment on a broken ankle fight for Benitez, but that was 2 years after Hearns after Wilfred went down from 160
Iran demolished Tommy? He knocked him out with one punch but not demolishing by anyone's standard. Tommy is the one who bruised Barkley's ribs and cut him up and had Steele almost stopping the fight on cuts. That is the only thing Barkley ever really did in his career was beat a great Hearns, and I knew when Duran signed to fight Barkley that he would win. Hill was much better than Barkley, which bothers me to say because I really liked Barkley's style and intensity. I always rooted for Barkley when he fought, but he usually came out losing in big fights. Virgil Hill Undefeated and 10 title defenses at 175 when Thomas Hearns beat him. How is Hill overrated? So a guy who had 25 title fights at 175 (more than Duran ever had in his whole career) is overrated? 2 losses at 175 in title fights. I would say underrated because of his boring style and lack of power, but Virgil Hill was much better than Barkley and will always go down as better. I loved Barkley's style and will to win, but he is not half the fighter Hill was technically or in anyway. But Barkley was more exciting I give him that. I am surprised anyone argues that.

Mag,I'm astonished.Buchanan,Moore and Barkley are at least on the same level as Cuevas,Benitez and Hill.Buchanan is definitely better than Cuevas p4p.Even at the end of his career,Laguna is CLEARLY better than any of the 4 Cuevas victims you mentioned, plus he was only 27 when he fought Ken the 1st time, which means YOUNGER and with FEWER FIGHTS than the Duran that fought Leonard.I simply can't believe you rate Weston,Shields,Espada and Gray higher than the 27 year old Laguna, who was never stopped in his career.****ing Gray was stopped by someone named Ray Chavez Guerrero in the fight IMMEDIATELY BEFORE CUEVAS,ffs.Cuevas had something like 5 losses BEFORE he was stopped by Tommy, twice more than Manny Pac has had in his whole career.I don't know why you made that comparison, either.I gave you Benitez over Moore, but the fact remains that Moore stopped him and Wilfred had only 3 losses before fighting Moore.I never wrote that Barkley was BETTER than Hill, just that he handled Hearns and Hill couldn't.YOU'RE the one that wrote that your 3 were MUCH BETTER than other 3 even though they are clearly not.BARKLEY BEAT TOMMY AT 175 JUST AFTER HILL LOST TO TOMMY,for God's sake. How do you explain that one?Hill gets his props for his title defenses, but YOU most certainly overrate him as his resume is not littered with great fighters. He got beaten by Tommy(who got beaten by Barkley just after that) and Darius and got destroyed by Jones.Very good fighter as he had a lot of defenses(although his comp wasn't particularly special),but definitely not the elite you claim him to be.Jones had more trouble with DelValle than he did with Virgil. And as far as Virgil having all those title defenses(so many more than Duran),he also had so many more title defenses than Leonard and Hearns ever had,but yet Hearns beat him.Your logic is squewered

Out of the Fab 4, Duran was the smallest and the oldest, quite some disadvantage when you are going up against the true elite.

Don't say that to Mag,as,according to him, that would just be another Duran fan excuse.Plus he had more fights at that point in his career than any one of the Fab 4 had by the time any of their careers were finished.
