WTF? Man that is the difference between a tune up and legacy defining fights. Nobody gives a damn what weight ODLH comes in at during a fight with Steve Forbes.

Now do you get it idiot?

Anyway the penalty was probably more than the man made for one of his last 5 fights.

Hell if you want to pay him 1 mill for a fight he can't win or 1.6 mill for a fight he can't win... He would probably laugh all the way to the bank with 1.6. Like he did.

You are a stupid ******, Do you really think that Pac could have gone up to 160 to fight Oscar? DLH knew that and Oscar dicated all the terms in that fight since he was the biggest attraction in boxing.. Pac fought him for the big pay day. There was no ****ing catchweight in that fight, it was fought at the WW limit. In fact Mayweather fought in a catchweight fight BEFORE Pacquiao when he asked Marquez to blow up to 144 and didnt even bother making the weight limit. All Marquez wanted was his biggest payday when he "called out" Floyd. Hes nearing the end of his career and he wants to get paid.

You're a ****ing moron. You said Floyd NEVER fought at a catchweight. I guess you forgot his last fight. Now you try justifying it with the ludicrous statement above. Delete your account R-****.

Dont forget that Pacquaio was coming from 135 all the way to 147 and was suppose to lose too DLH even at a catchweight. almost everbody including myself thought he was going to get his ass knocked out so i dont see nothing wrong with that fight been at a catchweight. As for the Cotto fight, didn't he came at 146 for his fight with Clottey? so i dont think 1 pound means ****.

BTW the Mayweather/Marquez fight was at a catchweight dumbass.

If your dumb ass is to simple to see the different between legacy defining fights an a tune up, too bad.

Nobody who was "career defining" for FMJ was at a damn catchweight clown.

Look clown. He didn't have to go up to anything. He could have just taken on DLH in his weight class and came in at whatever he felt comfortable at.

The Marquez fight was a tune up and didn't mean ish to FMJ's legacy. Anybody basically familiar with boxing knew that crap. It was a no win fight for JMM. He came into it, got paid, FMJ didn't make weight, and he got paid even more. Good for JMM.

To try to act like JMM meant the same to FMJ's carreer as DLH and Cotto meant the same to Manny's career is some weak BS.

If you want to get hung up on a technicality, I will spot your simple ass that. Like I said before, Manny made his name off of fighting B class dudes and drained shells.

Mayweather fought ALL of his top level challenges at their weight OR was the A side so fought as his weight class. To act as if Mayweather was making his name at catchweights (like Manny) is BS.

We will see what it really is when he fights Mayweather.

Man DLH looked like a bag of bones for that fight. Cotto had been getting dropped and rocked REGULARLY before Margo. After Margo it was a wrap. Clottey was robbed. That is who Pac should have fought.

Man you are the one who dropped that crap like Mayweather was making all these fights at catchweights. The ONLY catchweight fight he had was a meaningless tune-up. Hell, he did JMM a favor for not making weight.

Manny made his name in the game at catweights. If not, he would not have been fighting trilogies.

    :rofl:rofl

Of course Mayweather-JMM wasn't a catchweight, Mayweather pulled JM straight from 135lbs to 147.

    Pac-dlh wasn't a catchweight neither :deal

    The fight actually makes sense...

    1) he's a title holder at 154 and if pac were to beat him would have his 8th title in 8 different weight classes.

    2) A very good preparation fight for the fight of his life. He can practice cutting off the ring and dealing with a very good counter puncher in Yuri Foreman.

Don't worry...Pac doesn't duck anyone...Freddie Roach is probably recommending this as a tune-up due to the fact that pac's last 3 opponents are fighters that don't use the entire ring as well as Mayweather.
