An interview perhaps? Something on his Facebook or Twitter? His quit job is among the most pathetic things I have seen in recent boxing history.

The word from his website was that he had the flu,was weak and couldn't overcome the illness.

But in a recent interview, Malik Scott (who is facing Glazkov next) said
"anyone who knows Tor Hamer knows he's not passionate about boxing."

Picked a tough sport to not be passionate about. Should have taken up tennis.

The problem is he grew up well off. He has no dog in him.
His Mom was a lawyer, his Dad was a doctor and he is college educated. He has no beast in him.

Jack Dempsey credited his vicious style in the ring to going days without food as a boy. He would remember those days and get enraged!

Hamer has no dog in him.

Then explain why Chad Dawson quit like a coward against light-punching Ward?

How dare you think a fighter should have to take a few punches and get paid for it on the second Live National FREE fight in years!!!"" How dare you!

What's next? Asking Deter Jeter to play with a runny nose?

As far as I know, the Klitchkos weren't poverty stricken but they rose to become the best HWs today.

Hamer is a rational guy in a irrational and vicious sport.

Chad has mental problems beyond what we can comprehend.
He blames other for his shortcomings, changes trainers like Kim Kardashian changes husbands etc

The Klitschko brothers are an exception to the rule but you will notice that Wlad has hurt people and not finished them right away and sometimes not finished them at all.

    You are totally right...

    I feel like a douche.

Still, I will say that I never hold it against a pro boxer for quitting, knowing the nature of the sport.
