Has Trinidad's stock really fallen that far behind DLH's (legacy)

    HOw so:huh

Tito lasted a couple of rounds longer but he was beaten to a pulp whereas DLH got KO'd by a well-placed punch!

My honest opinion is equally bad, the only reason I said if not worse for DLH is that a LOT of people didn't buy the finishing punch. Even to this day....

Cuz in DLH case he looked like he just quit. I'm not saying he did, that's just how it appeared to me. I believe that he could of got back up. But if he would of he would of got beaten to a pulp also, so he preferred to stay down. IMO

From the way it looked that's a very understandable conclusion but if you ever been hit like that you know how devilitating those punches can be!

I know what you mean, believe me. Like the one Cintron caught in the second fight against Margo. I just don't think Oscar was as hurt as he made himself look.

When I took when of those shots, I't was ****ing paralyzing. You automaticly lose control of your legs and your breathing, you get a funny static feel all over. The way Oscar was banging on the ground didn't convince me that the shot was enough to finish him then and there.

That's the thing. You do lose control of your legs but for some reason you can still move your arms. And no matter how hard you try, you wont be able to get up until you can catch your breath again and start feeling your legs.

That usually lasts more than a 10 count!

I have been hit with a wicked body shot and there was no way I could bang my hands like that. I was absolutely paralyzed with pain. I think he overplayed it and was smart for doing so. He was on his way to taking much worse than that punch IMO. That being said, only Oscar truly knows how it felt. Sometimes shots that don't look hard still hurt like a ***** because they land in a sweet spot and there is nothing you can do about it except wait for the horrible pain to pass.

IMO DLH was always a bit greater than Tito who his great nevertheless. Tito´s stock with the fans is falling because they remember just his recent performances.

So being accused of taking a dive, and becoming business partners with the guy a WEEK LATER is more honorable then going out on your shield.:patsch

Tito will ALWAYS be the "fighters" fighter, whereas DLH is the most overrated fighter of this generation.

His 2 biggest wins of this DECADE were against people who Tito had LITERALLY ruined (Mayorga and Vargas):-(

But he did get on his bike and you can't legitimize that......Oscar jerkoffs.

That's like saying we were winning 6-3 going into the 9th inning and we relaxed and got beat.........Who's fault is that??

They are both The best 147Lbs fighter's IMO, During/Since their reign's.
But the fact that Trinidad has let his body go so much is the true reason
people rank De La Hoya above Felix.

Regardless of the outcome from their showdown, Trinidad came out the worst for wear from that victory
Where as De La Hoya became the marquee.
(What defo hurts's Trinidad, Is his percived lack of focus & condition)

The fact that both their resumes contain L's against fighter's who fought
at weight's above/beyond anything we ever thought to see them fight at
is a defo plus and credit to both De La Hoya & Trinidad.

In all honesty, I still belive that they both have the good's to give eachother
the rematch needed to end this discussion.
I can't remember a fighter in the lower weight's (Below Middle)
Still being held in such high regardes as Oscar, As I check out alot of former
P4P fighter's records exp towards the end of their career's they defo have more Stevie forbes than they do Antonio Margarito's.

And when was the last time Trinidad took a warm up?
Bottomline is they are both warrior's.
