Has Usyk vs Dubois deadline passed? What the hell is going on?

I would happily shoot every single fighter in Frank Warren's stable except maybe Anthony Yarde

Utterly useless, overhyped turds demanding the earth each time, wasting the fans' interest, holding up the sport and love to talk down to all other fighters. Even the height of Matchroom-Sky wasn't this bad

Canard. Dubois is nowhere near as good or accomplished as literally 15-20 guys out there, maybe more.

He has NO compelling reason to exist as a contender.

 

Yeah. He has faced one good opponent and lost. In no reasonable sense is he an interesting, or deserving, contender. I mean, Parker is ahead of him, not to mention Zhang, Joyce, Hrgovic, Ruiz and Wilder. Whyte even. Dubois is Chisora level of interest.

 

I honestly believe that he has yet to prove that he is Chisora level.

 

Even Warren doesn't want to bid on it....

Then he can turn around and say "Usyk has no value" and they can stonewall Usyk in the negotiations with Fury again.

 

The idiots in this thread talking about Usyk's inactivity, lol. It's always the Furyettes talking about how "inactive" Usyk is, and they don't even have the mental capacity to put two and two together as to why things happen the way they do and who the culprit is in HW boxing these days.

Two things:
1) Fury has been stalling the whole division for years. Usyk was ready to fight Fury last spring. Who kept d*cking around for months? Fury. Who decided to demand a Whyte fight as a tune-up instead in the end? Fury. Who caused the Usyk-Joshua rematch to be delayed by a month as a result? Fury. With his d*cking around for months only to fight Whyte instead of Usyk, who promised to face Usyk "first thing" after the Whyte fight but failed to deliver? Fury. Who screwed up the "Usyk-Joshua rematch, five months break, then possible fight in December" schedule that all parties agreed to early last year? Fury. Instead of waiting for a few weeks until February to face Usyk (which date, once again, was shifted to February in the first place because Fury's shenanigans meant the Usyk-Joshua rematch was delayed by one month in the summer and the whole schedule both teams agreed to in early 2022 went tits up), who had the bloody cheek to blatantly lie about how the fans wanted a Chisora trilogy? Who sparred with Del Boy in last December, hence ducking a February Usyk fight as a result while also making sure he won't be stripped for inactivity as the Del Boy sparring session officially was, as ridiculous as it was, a title defence? Fury. Who priced himself out with the Saudis, making a March fight impossible? Fury. Who lied about being in camp to fight Usyk in April? Fury. Who lied about SugarHill Steward arriving in the UK to train him for the Usyk fight? Fury. The guy is cancer to HW boxing. Fury is the embodiment of everything that is despicable in a human being and everything that is rotten in boxing.

2) How active has Fury been then? Don't give me the bull about his Chisora sparring as a legit fight. In reality, he hasn't fought a legit fight since April 2022 - and even then he only beat up a chinny uppercut magnet plodder instead of facing Usyk. He hasn't fought a non-Wilder top 5 HW in eight years. Retirements and un-retirements, press conferences where he announces nothing, "massive, massive news" that he fails to deliver - that's your "champion" right there, Furyettes. That's his legacy. And you still have the audacity to talk about Usyk's inactivity Brilliant.

 

It's true that Duckson Fury created this entire HW mess. Just wish he'd retire for good and allow the HW scene to move forward.

 

Yarde seemed like one of those guys. But it turns out that if you present him with an opportunity to get murdered... the ****er will take it . Bro really, really wants that world title and I love him for it.
