Why do people continue to bring up Rahman? He was shot and had 3 weeks to get in shape, he was NOT a credible fighter when he fought Wlad.
Rachman did not have three weeks training he already had an opponent Sheduled for december and was in training camp same as wlad, Was he shott maybe still less then ruiz was the other weekend, Also rachman was ranked # 2 or 3 after povetkin pulled out he was considered the mandatory.. But hey why bother with the facts right:deal
Problem is, most people don't understand the skill level Wladimir possesses. Forget the jab-straight-right; the left-hook that Wladimir throws is amazingly fast and brutal. Ive watched them over and over in super-slow-motion, and the accuracy, quickness and power he generates is amazing. Think about the details that go into throwing a punch (with padded gloves) that is capable of knocking an opponent senseless, all while the other professional boxer is using feigns, head movement, and guard. It aint ****in easy. They dont call it the sweet science for nothin. Take the knockout against Chambers in the final seconds. Ill use that as an example because if you watch it in slow motion, it was not a typical angle, and he had a very small window. When Wladimir sees the opening, in an instant he coordinates all of the muscles in his body; takes a stable stance; (remember that not even Mike Tyson, or George Forman could transfer force or hit hard if they were on roller skates), calculate the distance of the punches impact to be sure to make impact at the optimal focus point which is about a 3/4 extension of his arm, while also figuring out how deep or shallow to strike into his target. Wladimir does all of this with brutal precision. You dont just jump in the ring with a guy like this and expect to not get hurt which is why so many freeze when they get in the ring with him. Have a good weekend. Enjoy the Pavlik vs. Martinez show. :happy
He came in weighing 254 and had got his ass TKO'd by Toney before facing Wlad, Ruiz wasn't peak either but he never looked completely shot like Rahman did either either and he had been very competitive with Chag and Valuev. Furthermore I'd love to see the evidence that he was made a mandatory on 3 weeks notice, because I don't buy it.
The first big left hook that Sam Peter hit him with sent him spiraling and clutching to the canvas. The shot behind the head nullified the knockdown which should have been otherwise legit. The 10th round knockdown was legitimate as well. I would say he has been hit almost as hard. He hasn't handled it exceptionally well though. The fact is that all of his recent defenses were against very lackluster opposition. This fight needs to happen.
And again with avoiding the facts, Toney did not knock out Rachman:deal Really when was the last time Ruiz looked good his last significant win was 2004 anf you dont think he was shot? Wow just WOW, maybe you should look it up when the mandantory challenger pulls out the next highest available contender can become the mandantory to fulfill obligation.... But hey again why bother with the facts right.. It was posted on here multiple times as well as outher sources try to look it up if you dont believe me.
:blood:admin:admin:admin you are out of your mind:nut one of the WORST posts I have ever seen on ESB:rofl
Nope!!! Only Sanders swiftly countered with accurate haymakers, since then Klit didn't let any hard shots pass thru!!! He even tackled a few who got too close to him!!!
