yup I was one of the few that had him there the last time we did a big "everyone's p4p" thread. Not exactly a fan of his though. But i do got respect.
P4P is about skill. However, it's hard to tell just how skilled someone is unless they've gone against some good fighters.
kt may not have been absolute prime, but he had previously just demolished mitchell in 3 rounds, and kt would probably beat those guys you mentioned now - 2 years after hatton. and i wouldn't be suprised if jlc beats them all also.
He is in mine. It is commonplace to punish Heavyweights in pound for pound rankings, but he is easily one of the Top 10 best in terms of skill and cleaning up a division (either through ass kickings or other avoiding).
I like Wlad, but he hasn't cleaned up a damn thing. There are 4 beltholders in the division and there is no real proof that they've all avoided Wlad.
In truth, some probably believe he should be lingering somewhere around the bottom of the P4P rankings. While not an absurd thought, you should own your own division (which WLAD incidentally admits he does not) before having your name plastered to mythical P4P lists placing you against others who have legitimately earned a reputation of dominance in their respective divisions. Larry's Big Beautiful Man just isn't where he "...wants to be..." yet.
i didn't misunderstand anything. a kt and jlc even with wear and age are tougher fights than the fighters you gave as examples.
