No, wlad an vitali have proven they are not just the best, but the best champions, which is exactly the perpose of the linage of heavyweight champ, to prove at a specific time, who is considered to be the best. An at this time, they are the best in the division, i mean lennox ain't coming back, vitali put an end to that, so this is were the linage picks up, They refuse to fight each other, do we give it to someone else cause of default
I agree with farmboxer, this would be a tough test, valuve does some nice body work, an that will be a danger to wlad, as will his uppercut, which you can see in most valuev fight is his best weapon,,,,i see him tougher then anyone on the board right now, that just me, i mean hayes has no chin, arreola is just a slugger who will do nothing but eat jabs, styles make fight, an this should be somewhat of a test for wlad,
Ruiz didnt fight for Lewis`s vacant belt, Ruiz fought for a paper title that meant nothing because Lewis was still the champion. Lewis only lost that belt in court due to a clause in a contract with Don King, it wasnt stripped bu=y the WBA either. Byrd also fought for a paper title while Lewis was still the champion. In fact despite those belts Lewis was still regarded as Undisputed champion. The WBC belt counted as the manifestation of Lewis`s title when he retired and Vitali and Sanders fought for it because Lewis had retired and so the title passed over and the winner of this fight was regarded as the champion due to that as the 2 top ranked guys at the time and recieved the Ring belt also. The WBA and IBF holders werent even considered in the equation at the time and thats due to the fact Lewis was the champion while Byrd Ruiz and Holyfield passed around the Don King championship between them which unworthy King stable challengers fought for. Everyone considered Vitali as the best until he retired.
Personally I think if either brother should be regarded as the lineal Champ it should be Vitali. Not because he is clearly the tougher and more exciting of the 2 but because he has beaten better opposition than Wlad
You obviously have absolutely no clue on what lineage even is, so I suggest you quit embarrasing yourself with your cluelessnes and leave this thread.
this is the toughest post to answer. i hope that the k boys read it and understand the frustration fans have over title. if they don't fight each other we don't get a new line. so we are stuck with a "which klitchko's better debate". wlad's a better boxer, but i think vitali is a better fighter. tough call. hopefully one of them loses so we can have some unity. if they retire unbeaten, one or both, god help us.
That's debatable. What he has done for sure is show himself up as one of the most boring fighters in recent history
I think so hes beaten everyone thats been put in front of him since he became champion and he is the longest reigning champion and holds the most belts in the heavyweight division so I would say he has done enough he hasnt faced the best competition but hes faced who hes needed to face and despite the fact that he sticks behind a jab and can be boring I think hes done enough
thats true Vitali only fought twice in the last 3 or 4 years he would have to fight his brother to be lineal champ and thats not going to happen
What you should do is read my post a few times, ponder it for hour or two, read it a few more times, ponder once again, an you might figure out what a lineage title even means,
I could read and ponder over you badly spelt and badly punctuated ramblings for hours, and still not fully understand them. This is an argument you simply cannot win buster. Lineage means the man who beat the man, not the man who is considered by some to be the best. Hence 'linear', if you know the word? You clearly dont understand the concept, look it up. There is really no debate on whether Wlad is linear or not, he isn't. He hasn;t beaten Lewis, he hasn't become undisputed. This isn't me giving a biased, hating opinion, it is merely fact. I would dearly like for a HW lineage to be formed, it needs to happen. Myself, I would even be prepared to give the K brothers a pass on picking up the WBA belt, it has become such a farce I would settle for unifying the other 3.
