For most boxers beating elites means beating washed up or over the hill past greats Wlad didnt really have those sorts of guys to beat, he came in a transitional era grabbed the titles and beat a long list of ranked opposition when ranking foes you go HOF, champ, or ranked sadly no HOF guys were there to beat, i mean he could have fought Holyfield but he didnt wanna scrape bottom like some ATG's have beating on an old shot former great, he could have lured Tyson or Lewis out of retirement but i dont think thats Wlad's thing Champs well he has beaten quite a few Byrd, Brewster, Chagaev, Ibragimov, Haye (two weight), Mormeck (cruiser), Peter, cant think if he beat any others some count Botha i dont since Bothas IBF victory was an NC, Schulz in some eyes beat Foreman and Wlad beat him early in his career ranked well the list is long If Wlad had some washed up elites to pick on like how Holmes picked on Ali and Tyson picked on Holmes and Lewis picked on Tyson than im sure Wlad would have an elite win
on top of that, if his brother never came back he might have Solis, Adamek, Chisora, Arreola to replace Mormeck or Thompson 2 or one of his other less heralded wins
But he doesn't and he has his own brother to blame for that. He also had his chance to challenge Lewis but he was too busy getting KTFO by a fat golfer in 2 rounds. It's always if's and but's with Klitards, never what actually happened.
Vitali was'nt busy getting knocked off. He took the Lewis fight on two weeks notice and with the chance to get the stigma of Vitali beating him around the ring and behind on the cards, Lewis ran for the hills and has never looked back! There he goes. There goes Lewis, still running! :yep
TKO6. As I said, always ifs and buts, never what actually happened. You can check Boxrec if you think I'm lying.
