Pretty much, and the main reason it's such a huge win for Ray, even with Hagler "on the decline"

I can honestly say that now, its too late. It's 100% less competitive, 100% less relevant and just doesn't even need to happen. If it did happen now, it would ultimately be a huge disappointment a huge waste of time, and an absolute case of too little too late.

I just don't see the point now. It's just not the fight it was 2/3 years ago. And basically Mayweather would trounce pacquiao without being particularly challenged and that would only damage boxings reputation by pissing the casuals off who arnt educated enough to not still expect the same super fight.

pac's just not the same guy that looked like he could beat mayweather when he destroyed cotto, so thats why this fight will happen now

You're entitled, I don't see the need for punk like eye rolling but whatever. Look if you want to tell me Manny is mentally at the same place...fine. I believe mental toughness and the will, desire, and commitment to bring your best (as the man says he will before and after very fight) is a key element in "greatness", and if Manny isn't capable of doing that...he's not as great as we thought. Physically...I'm not buying, he's just as speed and power is every bit proportional to Floyds...meaning anything Manny's lost, Floyd too has lost. This fight would play no different today, than ever would have...Floyd is clearly the better fighter and regardless when or where this would eventually show through.

These two ****ers have been fighting for a long assed time, going to be 36 years old soon and it's clear Pac is past it and has been for years.

Saying a fight that was peak popular in 2009/2010 is the same as it would be in 2013 with one of them going 1-1 in their last 2 lacks any sort of logic whatsoever.
