That's the thing, I think he was a power puncher at 140 and just a strong welterweight (not a killer). At 154 his pop could be no greater than Foreman's for all we know.
But he knocked out everyone at 147 except guys with monster chins/defense such as Clottey, Margarito and Mosley and the freak pacquiao. He destroyed Quintana, Judah, Jennings, Gomez so we can't say he didn't have power at 147.
Are you basing this on having identified a vulnerability of Yuri's to bodywork (he has been in with bodypunchers), or just off-the-cuff because Cotto was once upon a time a ferocious garage level operator?
Yuri's resume is a bit thin, lets face it. I'm trying to imagine how Yuri wins the 7-8 decisive rounds he's going need to get the decision in Yankee stadium. Gangly Yuri, running about the ring, pitty pat, pitty pat. Fleet-footed Yuri, his feather fists and rabbinical ring smarts -- oh the terror!
Why was this framed as a response to the quoted post? They seem to have nothing to do with each other. :huh
