    i enjoyed reading that

I was saddened by the way Montiel vs Hasegawa ended. Hard luck getting caught in the ropes like that and the fight being stopped so close to the end of the round.

Vacant title? I wasn't aware (or probably forgot) that Rojas vacated.

Still good for Hasegawa, I wonder how he'll do at Featherweight.

Hasegawa seems to have lost some of his speed since he moved up to featherweight, but that could be that he just has to have time to grow into a new weight class that hes never fought at before. Hopefully he grows into the weight class and gets some of his old speed and power as he defends his new belt. If he makes a few successful defences id like to see him against the winner of Lopez-Gamboa or Celestino Cabellero.

Two things I feel he could improve is to turn his punches over more and to use side movement.

HH looked a little slower (but still relatively quick) than before and his defense was horrible. But he still put his punches together beautifully at times. He's a welcome and exciting addition to an allready stacked division.

Rounds 11 and 12 of the fight are worth checking out...

I don't know where this glass chin BS comes from. Burgos is a pretty big puncher, and he stood up to a lot of shots from him. His last fight, his jaw got broken in the second round and he didn't go down for two more rounds after that.

Someone posted the WBC mandated Hozumi-Jh. Gonzalez. That's a dangerous dangerous fight for Hasegawa, Jhonny might be significantly slower and lost to a Japanese lefty before, but I think he's the best puncher below MW, when he touches his opponents they fall. Asiku wasn't a bad win at all.

I also read Rojas is lined to face JuanMa, if he's healthy by early next year. I wonder how the WBC situation will be cleared up, but I don't think the division expected Hasegawa or Gonzalez to knock on the door, while Rojas himself is more than capable. Great times!

Easily the strongest weight class in boxing right now, IMO. Everyone in the top 10 is pretty damn good. Gonzalez would probably be a P4P fighter if not for his chin, and you can make decent arguments for five guys in the weight class to be in the P4P top 25, with two guys actually in Ring's top 10.
