The guy's awesome. Hopefully he follows the lead of fellow countryman Toshiaki Nishioka and get a fight overseas to get even more exposire.

Hasegawa is so awesome he does not need an election. They might as well just kick the emperor out and start a new imperial line with Hasegawa and his spawn.

Good to see the commentators in Japan lack bias.

I'ma big fan of Hasegawa Hozumi. His sudden power is unexplainable...I know it can develop but ****...whats with all the first round KO's :huh

Maybe he develop some pop ala Junior Witter, if you look at his legs, he have a manny pacquiao type of legs that can be used to put better punches with more pop.

When you bet the under (which was somehow set at 10.5 rounds) at +220, that's how. :hey

The pawing is dangerous, is what I meant. It's good in terms of measuring distance/acting as a yardstick to keep the other guy away, but if you use it too much someone will come over the top and hit you hard. This guy looks quick enough to dodge shots well, but he should still be more careful with that pawing habit.

Regardless, he looked great. I would love to see him gaining more fame.

King Kong would thump this guy. Nestor Rocha isn't anywhere near the quality of Luis Perez or Vic Darchinyan

Anything to take away the greatness of a black boxer. Hyping this dude up over Agbeko, a man who actually beat someone who is world class, because he KO'd a nobody in 1 round and another nobody in 2. Give me a ****ing break.
