I agree this fight is very evenly matched. I wish it was being shown somewhere as it will be a very good fight IMO. I tend to give the edge to the skills of Hasegawa to win a close decision, but do not rule out Valdez springing the upset !
I like Hasegawa in this fight. I think home advatange swings it his way, he makes the southpaw stance work for him pretty well and has a little more pop than his record suggests. Should be a good one.
I think it's fair to say this was Hasegawa's fight to lose, but he is going to have to be at his best against Valdez to win, I think. Valdez might not look like much on paper, but in this match-up, I think he is being underrated.
It's a tough fight for Valdez. No doubt he's the underdog. But he has nothing to lose and everything to gain. But although he's the underdog, he's got a few things going his way. He's tall, a southpaw, determine, and has heart.
Thanks for the picture. Both look in great shape. You can see Valdez rearing to go. Any news about their weights?
That only happens in the USA anyway. For Hasegawa vs Valdez: referee: Michael Griffin judges: Duane Ford, Hubert Minn, Bruce McTavish There was no need for them though as Hasegawa destroyed Valdez in the second round. :rofl
