Will be interesting to see if he can exceed his dad, his position is unique...his father is not a ATG, but also not Felix Trinidad Sr. or Floyd Mayweather Sr. This content is protected
I wish this young brotha well. He certainly has big shoes to fill. Any legit HW between 1998 and 2008 had to prove themselves against Rahmam at some point. My biggest criticism of Vitali Klitschko was his shameless avoidance of Rahman. Really, he used every excuse in the book to get out of fighting Rahman
I think the fight was scheduled multiple time but of course vitali retired until 2008. I don't know for sure why would he be afraid of someone like rahman.
Junior is going nowhere. This heavyweight division is quietly very deep and it is hard to see him getting in even the second tier.
You also think Toney would have beaten him. Safe to say any criticism you have towards either Klitschko is moot.
good for rahman , as vitali was never that big one punch KO artist, he would have scrambled rahman’s brain and kept scrambling it for 12 rounds.
Vitali had plenty of opportunities to fight Rahman in fact Rahman was his WBC mandatory and Vitali pulled out of numerous fights with him and eventually retired for 4 years instead of fighting, only to come back when Rahman was out of of the rankings and magically be performing as though he never had any of the injuries that forced him to pull out if all the Rahman fights
Vitali would've destroyed Rahman, utterly shattered his fragile mandible. For crying out loud, he was starched twice by Oleg Maskaev, among others who obliterated his glass jaw.
