Rocky woulda made Hasim quit on his stool after about 9-10 rounds. At his best he gives Rock some trouble with that underrated jab of his and movement, but eventually Rocky would have worn him down with his body punching and beten the fight out of him, too hard hitting and determined the Rock was for Rahman to overcome.
Rocky would have broken every blood vessel in both Rahman's arms before dispatching him for a tko in round 8.
Ive never been Bernard's biggest fan because he bored me for years getting into ungainly brawls with bums like Robert Allen, but thats a classy and honest assesment from him regarding Robinson, Hagler and Monzon .. For me he'd lose all 3 fights at Middle, and for him to talk about a war with Marvin, thats a joke, Hopkins never ever wanted a war with anybody let alone a guy like Hagler .. Hopkins built his whole career and success on the counter - punch right hand, and running to get into position for the counter - punch right hand, any guy with some speed and true boxing ability has a chance of beating him. He reigned in the weakest Middleweight division in history apart from the current one .. I had him winning against Calzaghe though
Last great performance from Holyfield that, he could still do it then against guys who came to him and werent too hard to hit. HOWEVER the headbuts played a big big role in that fight, thats the whole reason for that stoppage As for Toney he is a fat f*ck but if he was in shape he'd still be 200lbs and 193lb Layne pushed Rocky back allot, which doesnt mean Toneys stronger hes probably weaker but not by much and I'd rate his chin as better
I like that from Hopkins. Not a bad analysis. I like the scoring method he propose for his fight with Hagler too.
