The fights were YEARS apart when Rahman's stature as a fighter was a whole lot different. That is quite possibly one of the stupidest posts I have ever read, which says a lot.
Both have a good punch and weak chins, but Rahman is washed up, so I'll say Haye wins by KO but will not prove anything by that. If Haye has balls he'll fight Toney instead.
Haye by stoppage inside four rounds. Rahman is virtually shot and Haye knows it which is why he has been picked.
I'm not sold on Haye being the saviour of the division but I still know he takes Rahman out quick and brutally. Rahman is shot. He is a stationary, slow, lumbering target at this point. Haye should score a ko before the 5th round. Smart fight for Haye if this happens. Rahman is probably the biggest reward lowest risk heavyweight in boxing. Now the Rahman that beat Sanders or Lewis would have been a different story but a 2008 Rahman is done. Haye by early ko.
Loved watching Rahman when I was younger, this would of been a great fight...I think it goes similar to how Haye/Chisora went. Haye wins by a big KO.
I'm glad to see someone remember that legendary interview with Bunce back then. I loved that version of Haye.
Rahman's problem wasn't chin it was stamina. Haye evades when he feels Hasim got pop. Notices he's tiring mid-rounds picks up pace and stops him late.
Rahman is one of the most hot/cold fighters I've ever seen. I think it truly depends on which one shows up (and how much the one that shows up weighs and trained) more than Haye, we know what Haye is gonna do. Any Rahman over 250lbs loses by knockout Rahman/Tua 1 wins Rahman/Toney 1 wins Rahman/Toney 2 loses by knockout Rahman that beat Barrett wins Rahman that beat Meehan wins Rahman that lost to Maskaev (both fights) wins Rahman that beat Taurus Sykes loses by knockout Rahman that beat Zuri Lawrence loses by knockout Rahman that lost to Jawny Ruiz loses by knockout
