I wish Bodog wasn't being a bunch of bitches and posted odds. The over under was 5.5. In my opinion, a steal.
Against a guy that Mesi stopped in one almost three years ago. Well, at least Rahman is getting himself in there. And at least it's a better guy than the one he stopped in the first round last time out. I guess.
Thanks for the result. I was wondering how that fight went. So, Rahman's probably looking to get back in the ring again before end of summer?
An expected result. Miller is a brave guy, but he is limited in every area. Rahman did what he had to tonight, but I have a tough time imagining being able to have further success at the top level. Maybe he can put together a nice winning streak of club fighters and serve as a stepping stone for up and coming prospects.
He said he's looking for a July fight, an August fight if possible, and definitely a September fight. Should be back soon. I am concerned though another site claims Miller staggered him in round 1 but I guess Miller can punch. He's a big dude. It doesn't matter anyway Rahman knocked him down once each round. Beatdown type.
I'm still sour I couldn't lay money on this fight. Grrrrr. Even the 1/4 odds of Rahman by KO were a steal as far as I am concerned.
Maybe I'm nuts but I don't think McCall/Rahman would be a bad match to make right now. They have that interesting tie-in with each other.
I don't know, but he's been knocked down and knocked out a number of times. You can only take so much punishment.
Miller kept getting up. He went down each round once. Also Rahman's lack of conditioning didn't help I'm sure. Had Rahman showed up at 240. Miller doesn't make it out of round 1.
