Hasim Rahman is without a doubt, The Worst Undisputed Heavyweight Champion in History.

Rahman vs L. Spinks - Spinks would win every minute of every round
Rahman vs Carnera -KO victory for the power-punching Carnera KO5
Rahman vs B. Douglas -Douglas would play with Rahman before KOing him.
Rahman vs Johansson - Ingo's Bingo would level Rahman KO5
Rahman vs M. Spinks - Soon as "The Spinks Jinx" lands its fight over.
Rahman vs Patterson - Floyd would crucify Rahman.
Rahman vs Willard - Willard who beat Johnson plays with Rahman.

    I disagree.

Every lineal champion has one good win by definition, so the way to look at it is what is their second best win?

In Rahmans case you do have a couple more quality wins.

Rahman was a decent fighter who, when given a shot with a less than top shape champion, was at his best and came away with the title. In that regard he's much like Leon Spinks and Buster Douglas. And much like those two, Rahman was a solid contender for a few years before and after winning the title.

Worst heavyweight champion? I'm a "lineal-ist", so for me it's Shannon Briggs.

You can't use the word "worst" as an adjective for a guy who accomplished the amazing feat of winning a world HWT title. Rahman had some bad losses but also some excellent wins.

The hardest job in pro sports is to be a heavyweight boxer and win a world title. Rahman deserves more respect. As do all the guys who won a world HWT title, no matter how less distinguished their overall careers may have been compared to the all time greats like Ali Lewis Klitschko Louis Holmes Marciano Tyson etc.

Rahman showed his greatness in the first Lewis fight. No one can take that away or belittle or discredit his historic performance that night. And no it was not a lucky punch, he systematically broke down Lewis mentally and physically.

I mean i know Seldon is s****ing the bottom of a barrel kinda guy, but Seldon would **** Leon Spinks up

"Worst" is a way to compare champions to each other. When ranking champions somebody has to be last.

Obviously it takes a lot of effort to even get a title fight. As has been said many times, it takes a lot of courage to even get into a boxing ring. But I personally have a lot more respect for a Hasim Rahman, who fought several top contenders during his career (winning some and losing some), than I do for a Shannon Briggs, who made a career out of bluster and steamrolling lesser-quality fighters.

Cheating blatantly and excessively in every fight gets you that title. Therefore Wladimir Klitschko is the worst HW Champ in boxing history , in my book.
