Hasim Shariff Rahman, Sr. vs. Thomas David Morrison

Honestly for me this is a hard call, I suppose it might be determined by who's head was screwed on correctly that night. If Tommy doesn't bang him out he probably gets stopped. But it's a coin toss

 

Both guys could punch like hell with Tommy having one of the best left hooks and Rahman with a monster right hand. Both had defensive flaws and could be hurt. Both also had issues preparing for fights from time to time. This one is a toss up but one thing is for sure, it ain't going the distance.

I think I will go Tommy by left hook destruction but it would not surprise me if Rahman connected with a right hand and ended it early. I do think Tommy was a more athletic/versatile guy.

 

Both didn't take a the greatest shot. Morrison hit harder, and like others have said had better athleticism. At his best, he KOs Rahman brutally.

FWIW, Rahman was the better fighter.

Rahman was just plain better and expose Tommy's glass gas tank. KO9.
