Anyone else think Maloney will make a trend of this? I was saying the other day in an other thread Maloney has a cash cow in Jefferies up North and he will put him on the card and fill it with **** mismatches.
i certainly aint buying that old no one will fight him crap he said after the fight if he pays well theres a dozen good fighters that he could go up against still learn something against but win, i unfortantly think maloney will milk jefferies fan base for every pound note that he can which may not bode well for jefferies career
Well that was terrible. Jeffries didn't show us anything different to his previous outings - get him someone who is durable enough to last more than 2 rounds. T Dickinson had one terrible hair-cut, but he didn't perform too bad, yet looked far from a world beater. Still early days of course. The other Dickinson is not going anywhere really, possible domestic challenger, but he has nothing special about him at all and is a light puncher. Still seems like he has a better attitude to his brother. Ferguson is not going anywhere apart from a what could be a decent match-up with Burton in a North-East battle. Ferguson would start off far from being the favourite in that one. I forgot the other guys names, but the one from Blackpool who gassed didn't look all that special either, will have to improve. The one with the one win before his fight seemed to have some power, but I didn't get a good look at him to really judge him.
for anyone who was lucky enough to miss tonights fight dont bother with the sky plus dont waste 2 hours of your life just read the above post he summed it up perfectly it really was a dire show
Thanks :good The only reason I watched all of it (apart from the main event) was because I was hungry and I was cooking something :yep
Yeah I was reading the thread - seemed like a premature stoppage, but the army lad had nothing to offer anyway and if it had continued it would have been delaying the inevitable. Well I think thats what everyone pretty much said.
Yep i thought a stoppage in the first was going to happen Burkinshaw seemed to freeze up or something. I can't even remember if he threw a punch in the 1st or 2nd rounds. Haskins jumping about like RJJ didn't help much either.
