Anybody can tell me whether Lemieux has improved since his two L's, i always thought that if Lemieux got a good trainer and a good S&C coach, he really can go far.

People seem to be divided on the issue. I'm on the David v2.0 team. :D

I liked his workrate against Torres (the 7 knockdowns were just a bonus), he didn't go crazy in the early rounds and was still working more on cutting the ring off effectively than dropping bombs on Torres. I think Ramsay has been able to tame the beast, go figure why Anber wasn't. S&C wise, David comes in with a better midsection than in the past - looking at the Rubio & Rosado weigh-ins back to back, for instance, is a night and day difference. Power didn't go away, Guerrero was proof of that... and the fact that Lemieux takes his time to land the right shot now e.g. uppercut in that very case.

Movement will be key against N'Dam. I don't think N'Dam hits harder than Gabe, and Gabe landed several hard rights when he fought Lemieux.

I hope David v2.0 keeps up the S&C training and sticks to Ramsay's gameplan because N'Dam knows how to create space for himself easily against brawlers... I think Lemieux has the ability to surprise us and land big shots against a seasoned, slippery opponent like N'Dam - however I'm in the minority, most guys on here still think he's Lemieux from the Rubio fight and has no chance in hell against a pure boxer like N'Dam.

^^ I don't like Ramsay as a trainer, i mean he trained Pascal for ages and i still see the same mistakes. I mean it is so sad, because if Pascal was with like Emmanuel Steward before he died or with Sugar hill who is now working with Stevenson, he would've been a beast.

Some of it is on Pascal though... Ramsay's been training amateur great Beterbiev for a little while now, I bet he's learned from Artur more than the other way around. Maybe Ramsay can make do with punchers a bit better than with guys like Pascal who's always tried to be the second coming of his idol, RJJ.

Lemieux speaks 5 languages, maybe he can actually talk boxing with Beterbiev.

HNN on points or by late stoppage. Probably by late stoppage as Lemieux is gonna get very tired swinging those little T-Rex arms and hitting nothing but air. N'Dam will be on his bike all night and Lemieux will struggle to land any shots up top

How come he know so many languages, and which ones?

Besides Pascal worked with Mayweather, a bit. Do you know if he still trains at the mayweather gym?

One of his parents is of Armenian descent... I'd be hard pressed to name the 5 languages he speaks, I'm sure it's buried in an article somewhere. The Quebec media use that fun fact every time (then comment that he seems a bit hesitant in French).

Never knew Pascal worked with Mayweather?!!!!? :think

Haha, well i expect Klitschko to know a couple of languages, but Lemieux doesn't strike me as a guy who would know 5 :bbb

He lives in Montreal, so French, English. His dad is Armenian (I think), so there you go, three. Russ Amber is libaneese, so Lemieux may speek arabic, so four. Now there is a fith one. Which is Spanish but I don't know why he speaks it.

N'Dam will NOT understand a SINGLE word of Quebecois when David addresses the media at the fight presser(s).

And you know what's funny? Quebec media will assume N'Dam understood everything that was said because he happens to speak French.

David: "J'suis ici pour vous dire que j'vas y sacrer une volée vendredi soir, que y'a aucune chance parce que chu prêt."

    N'Dam: "Wat?"

Renaud Lavoie: "Qu'est-ce qu'y'a Monsieur N'Jikam, vous parlez bien français non?!??"
