Eh? That doesn't sound right to me at all. IN fact, that sounds pretty much the complete opposite to a legitimate Ricky Hatton story. Firstly, he doesn't have a body guard or anything coming close to being one. 100% of the times I see him out and about he is either alone, with his girlfriend, his ma, Matt or maybe one or two friends. When he is in the pub he is just with whoever sits near him but he will either go out with his missus or a couple of mates. I have never, ever known him to act the way you suggest (not that you have given a clear picture to what happened).

Just wait until we combine them to make "Betty Witter".

It's post's like this that absolutely amaze me!

I mean. It describes the complete opposite to Ricky's personality. I really cannot, for the life of me, fathum where you get that from. I can only presume that you have some agenda, maybe you dislike Northerners or Mancs, or City supporters, so you create character flaws for the person and convince yourself that it is what you are seeing, even if the target is displaying the exact opposite personality.

Believe me. This comes from someone who knows the guy. He is about as far from being "up his own arse" as is humanly possible! And I don't say that with any bias because it is just completely obvious about him. I can be as certain about saying that as I can saying he's a tubby ****er, or that he's actually a ginge. Honestly!

I must give him credit though to have the energy to keep up his pretence of being a thoroughly likeable and down to Earth feller, every single one of the thousands of times I have been in the same pub as him, or the thousands of people who have met him before.
