No one else even comes close, IMO.

Same for Hatton if he wins...

Sorry - but Pavlik not only beat - but KO'ed Zertuche, Miranda, and Taylor this year. How could he not be Fighter of the Year?

Mayweather and Oscar danced with the Stars - and I see Mayweather winning this fight by UD.

If we're talking about High Profile Fights - with big money - then Yeah - you'll have to go with Money Mayweather.

I would probably still give it to Pavlik.

No offense to pavlik but Floyd would have fought and beaten 2 upper echelon, top 10 p4p fighters compared to Pavlik's 1 (an overrated Taylor coming off a string of unimpressive wins).

You are delusional to say "no one even comes close". I don't think it matters what happens this Sat....it's either Cotto or Pavlik - no questions asked. Between the 2, Pavlik has dispatched his opponents in more devastating fashion so if I had to choose between the 2, it would be him. 3 tough fights, each opponent slightly better then the previous one, all KO's.

The Figher of the year should either be Pavlik, Cotto, or the Mayweather/Hatton winner. :good

    My vote goes to Pavlik.

Oscar was no where near top 10 P4P when Floyd beat him.

Pavlik most definitely no matter how Floyd wins. However, if Hatton pulls it off, Hatton is not only the fighter of the year but the greatest victory the UK have earned alongside Turpin-Ray Robinson.
