What's with the hate on the IBF, WBA, and WBC titles? I could understand the hate on the WBO, IBO, IBA, but why the top 3 orgs?

The short story is there is something to hate about all of them. All of these orgs have at least 1-2 paper champs, and all orgs tilt towards big money and big promoters.

    WBC is corrupt.

WBA's "super champ" bull**** and paper titles are ridiculous.

WBO strips its champions at a whim and has some of the biggest paper champs in the sport.

I can't think of anything horrendously bad about the IBF at the moment, besides not stripping Peterson.

Everyone of these orgs has a dark past one way or another.

It's probably best to hate on all of them.

However, for ESB, when a fan's fighter wins a belt, suddenly the guy is a champion and the poster would never forget to tie the belt on his boy's name. And all the hate for the org is gone for the meantime until they strip him. :D

    It's always about the agenda.

    They all have obvious flaws.

WBC- seem to protect and give titles to mexicans.
WBA- Super. Regular. Interim. Intercontinental. Silver. Enough said.
WBO- Love the owner of Boxnation.
IBF- I'm not sure about this one, but not stripping Peterson and Judah being their Mando about 4000 times is a bit weird.

I have the IBF as the current most legit, but none of them are perfect.

When Judah lost to Baldomir the ibf let him keep the title because Baldy only paid the wbc fee. And weren't they the ones that had a dead man in there ratings for like 6 months?

I don't really see anyone complaining about the IBF.

WBA get hate as they have 2 champs per division Gamboa and Chris John were WBA champs and Wlad is the WBA super champ and Povetkin is WBA champ.

WBC seems to be not so bad.

IBF is the best current title I say as it only has 1 champ per weight class and has rehydration rule which all belts should have.

True, but their recent attempt at a heavyweight eliminator tournament is gesture in the right direction. Pulev and Solis/Adamek could be mandatories in early 2013.

WBC have recently rejected unification bouts - however allowing Ward to keep the WBA & WBC titles is weird - and are gift wrapping a title for Arreola once Vitali retires.

Also, did they strip Nishioka? Mares keeps getting billed as their 122lb champ, even though Nishioka was their champion. :think

EDIT: Looks like they did. Nishioka-Donaire is for the vacant WBC diamond belt, their answer to the "super champ", without nearly as much weight. Shameful ****, that. :-(

The IBF rankings are always horrible.

They must have stripped Nishioka as he defended the WBC title in his last fight. Looking on Boxrec only The IBF and WBO titles are on the line plus a vacant WBC Diamond belt.

Must be because of the no unification rule.

Abner Mares won a Vacant WBC belt in his last fight, don't no why Nishioka was stripped off the title though. :huh
