Hate to say it.. but Kessler seems like the type of fighter to ruin his career.

I live in the USA and I don't take it as a slap in the face like everyone else. Kessler's resume is better than Lacy's and Miranda's combined and let's not forget that it was he who made the fight with Calzaghe possible cuz Joe had the ball in his court from day 1. Now if Kessler stays inactive for another 4 months or so that's a different story. He needs to fight someone and when he does he'll show us why he's the best at 168 now that Calzaghe is at 175. Nobody was able to find holes in Kessler's armor until Calzaghe did it. The funny thing is that Joe used relentless activity and not necessarily precision to do it. Joe just ramped up the activity and the pressure and Kessler couldn't match the intensity. The only way Kessler may be ****ing his career up is by staying out of the ring too long, which in turn is allowing us to forget just how good he is.

WTF does resume have to do with Kessler being a b*tch?? What im saying is if he wanted to fight a bum then fight a bum, if there is anytime that a fighter gets a pass to fight a bum its after a lose. HOWEVER he agreed to fight Miranda, then pulled out in HOPES of getting a fight with Mundine. He should have atleast waited to see if he was going to get the fight. Now its kinda looking like he just pulled out of the fight with Miranda. From what I hear Mundine has no plans to fight the guy, which is good anyways.

Kesslers people begging for a title shot is crap, and the WBA granting.....Well Im not even going to get started on that.

All these people saying Kessler doesn't fear Miranda cause he fought Joe C how is this justifiable. Kessler has proven he has no confidence in his skills so why should I. Its one thing to lose to Joe C a guy who is undefeated its another to get exposed by Miranda.

Pure and simply scared of losing to Miranda. A top notch pro doesnt display the total lack of confidence that Kessler just did for all the world to see lets call a spade a spade, It doesnt matter wether you like him or not this was a bull**** **** move on his part and it comes across as gutless.

Miranda aint some massive name in boxing, i mean his best win is over a old howard eastman

I'm guessing that Kessler was waiting for something to materialize with Mundine and then all of a sudden Miranda starts running his mouth so Palle answered with unreasonable demands to make it look like Kessler was manning up while at the same time giving him something of an out. Basically, Kessler answering the call makes it look like he's calling Miranda's bluff but in truth, the contract's demands were gonna make the fight a difficult one to put together. You see what I'm getting at? At the very least, Kessler can say that he wasn't running from Miranda although at the same time the contract demands make it look like he's not overly anxious to fight him considering the risk. Is it right? No! Miranda is left hanging. Is boxing fair? No! Never was! Let's not go ahead and act like this fight was destined to happen. I mean seriously, was there even a site planned for the fight? Furthermore, 2 wrongs don't make a right but where's the uproar about Mundine choosing to fight Soliman for a third time instead of Kessler? What does that do for Mundine's career except put more money in his pocket? He sure loves those fights against his fellow countrymen. The last 2 good foreigners he's faced beat him in his own backyard. Siaca and Kessler.

Kesslers promoters aren't fools, they are aware of their fighters limitations and his vulnerability.

They will cash in on him until he faces another excellent fighter.

Its called clever man management of a hyped fighter.

I would do the same with my investment if I knew he was over rated.

Exactly. This is how many americans view Kessler. A guy in europe that has fought nonames and built up his resume on nobodies. Honestly, i dont see anything special about Kessler. He is good, but I would put him on the same level as a guy like Miranda. To me, its a 50/50 fight.

Having said that, I, as well as many others could have been proven wrong if he would have just taken the fight. He probably would have had the network behind him as well with a big win over Miranda. He could have opened a lot of eyes to his talent (assuming he is as great as his fans think).

Instead of doing that, he opted to take the easy route, which was to keep doing what he has been doing before Calzaghe, fight a nobody. For the people saying that Mundine is the more difficult fight, you cant be serious. How much of a psychology advantage (and disadvantage for Mundine) would it be for Kessler to fight someone who he has already beaten easily? On the flipside, how much of a psychological disadvantage would it be for him to face a guy with tremendous power? A guy that depends on that power to win fights.

Face it Kessler fans, until he proves otherwise, all of the fans saying that he is scared of Miranda are spot on.

Here's the problem, Mundine has no interest in fighting Kessler. He has a fight scheduled in May against Soliman, and unless the WBA steps in, the fight will go on as planned. Team Kessler screwed over Miranda, Showtime, Di Bella, and now it looks like he screwed himself. That is the problem.

This is the thing, Miranda WASN'T bluffing. Also, Team Miranda met all 16 demands laid out by team Kessler. Then we find out that the at first seemingly ok excuse that he has a "title" fight with Mundine, is not infact true, and that they are planning to FORCE Mundine to ditch his current match-up and fight Kess instead. Not like Mundine called and said "hey buddy, let's fight".

Load of ****. Providing Kessler steps into the ring with SOMEONE and stays active, he'll undoubtedly get another title shot and Miranda will still be there...calling him and everyone else out. And Showtime will undoubtedly still be willing to make the fight happen. Kessler is more valuable with a title. I don't see what the fuss is about.

I am still laughing at the guy that said Kessler's resume is better then Miranda's and Lacy's combined. Funny how that can be possible if nobody heard of the guy and he came out of nowhere and his claim to fame is beating guys that are not even good like Beyer and the other Margarito looking guy. Oh, Mundine..........How good are these guys....lol CLASSIC.

Which fighters that Miranda or Lacy have beaten do you rate as better than Mundine and Beyer?
