Hate to say it.. but Kessler seems like the type of fighter to ruin his career.

Believe me I know he wasn't bluffing. I phrased it wrong. What I'm saying is that I don't think Kessler and Palle were expecting team Miranda to meet all the demands because they were so steep. Had team Miranda not met the demands Kessler and Palle could have said "well, here we are so if u really want the fight as bad as u say you'll give us these 16 demands." Unfortunately for the Danes, team Miranda was willing to meet the demands so it made them look bad. That is if what Warriors is saying is true. I'm guessing that the truth is somewhere in between. If we're only hearing what Warriors is saying than look at it like this...3 guys go out to sea on a boat and one person shoots the other 2. He can come back and make up any story he wants.

I can appreciate the point your trying to make, but Dan Rafael reported on ESPN all 16 points and pointed out that all 16 had been met. Also, Kess/Palle as we know had not been shot out at sea, so where is their say on this. You have to admit the fact being out that they made such steep demands, a major sports news outlet (ESPN) reporting that they were met (not just Warriors saying so), and then no word what so ever from Kessler's team since, easily looks really bad on them.

Kesslers manager hadn't signed anything and according to them the deal they were offered didn't live up to their demands. Don't blame him ofor Showtime being stupid and advertising a fight that hasn't been signed.

I don't really remember Kessler or Palle being particularly vocal on any issue (except calling out Calzaghe) and I also keep in mind that ESPN is an American-based company (Miranda's an American-based fighter). I'm not defending Kessler but I'm wondering if there really was something being lined up prior to him accepting the Miranda fight. In this case, a title shot against Mundine which would soon become a regular title cuz u know Calzaghe's not defending that belt against anyone. If this is the case I could see why Kessler would want to pull out but at the same time, I do agree that it looks bad. There's no getting around the fact that they left Miranda hanging and the professional thing to do would be to address it no matter how much they have to twist the facts around. Silence just makes it worse.

Calzaghe said only Pavlik would make him go down to SMW and he can't have two Ring belts simultaneously.

It has been laid out in numerous posts here by ESBs (self proclaimed) experts what the Kessler management should do or at least try to do. Why the heck are we hearing next to nothing about progress in negotiations? This has lasted since NOV. 2007. What an utter joke!:deal

I agree, all from both sides of the fence, would have nothing to speculate on if they just come out with SOMETHING to tell us what's going on. Silence is what's killing them.
