I really dont have any interest in this fight even though it makes sense. Maybe because I dont see Alexander being a threat at all.

This fight would be even worse than Guerrero. Alexander sucks. Floyd would dissect him.

And thats the perception of many boxing fans, which is why I think even though it'll be a decent techincal match up, it doesn't even do Guerrero numbers.

WTF ever. at least Alexander is a ****ing welterweight, not some blown up lightweight that spent 90% of his career as a feather and super featherweight
floyd cant pick a shittier opponent than he did in his last fight, sorry

Not like this is anything new for floyd, his fans are willing to dish out money for mismatches.

This fight is NOT happening for the simple reason that Showtime Execs know
it would do worse numbers than FLoyd's previous fights.

Showtime and Team Money are in a quandary:deal

Yeah, this fight would do worse than the Guerrero fight. Alexander poses zero threat. He has no pop, no ability to adjust and is very basic and predictable. Easy night for Floyd.

I love how nothing but retired *******s and known haters comment on and create these threads. Like their opinions mean ****. Hilarious.

    Why not?

Nobody thought he'd fight a "young up and coming hungry fighter" in Ortiz and he did.

Nobody thought he'd take the Cotto fight, he did.

After Shane stopped Margarito, everyone was said Floyd was too scared to fight.... he did.

My only problem with the Alvarez fight is that if he beats him then all the haters will say that Canelo was overrated and never did anything.

****, he hasnt done anything. What has guy done at 154 to deserve a fight of this magnitude? He still has Lara/Cotto/Molina/GGG he can prove himself against.

With top names like Floyd, Pacquiao, Ward there will be a group of people who will say that regardless of who they face. No way of escaping some people who wld jus hate regardless

About to say something similar. Cant please everyone but every elite fighter gets their due somewhere. Not everyone is hating on Floyd.
