    This is why boxing is the most racist sport in America maybe even the world they having the fight in NJ aka Alabama. Its sad because i really like kelly pavlik and I think he will win but watch how ugly this is going to get.... The promotion is going to slip up and someone is going to say something to hype the fight Kelly Pavlik is no cooney the boy can flat out fight PK by KO..... i think it will be worse post fight... then pre fight.... with the whole race thing watch how this **** gets all over the news....

    It didn't seem to be a problem in Wales for Lacy, why would it be a problem in New Jersey?

    I don't expect it to be an issue at all. I think some of this board's Pavlik/Polish supporters have shown "tendencies" along those lines, but that's a very small group of folks. I think the rest of us just want to see a big-time fight.

    This guy is just trying to start something. It won't be an issue at all. Nobody here said a word about B & W leading up to Kellys fight with Miranda, so why should it be different fighting Taylor?

    What am i trying to start? this is a msg board not the ticket line for the fight fact is i was at gatti vs mayweather...and i do have ears... and NJ is pretty bad when it comes to the whole race thing just remmber i said it someone is going to say something and its going to turn ugly i hope it doesn't but i think it will.....

    I havent felt a race war atmosphere until the thread starter mentioned it so I'm gonna stick with my original instincts and just take the fight for what its worth....a good ol scrap between two rock'em sock'em champs.

    I actually agree with you, it happens with a lot of these types of fights and I talk to other fans who make it a racial thing.

    I don't think it'll be a big deal, but there will be hints of it flying around.
