Hating fighters because of their fans...

Something similar happens with Danny Garcia. He seems cool as hell but his dad talks so much trash that many people are rooting for his downfall.

In my case, I have nothing against Pac but I've never rooted for him. Go on Facebook and you see them talking so much garbage about Floyd.

 

Majority on here just root for fighters based on their race alone .

Sometime hate has nothing to do with it .

 

Nah....I don't hate floyd because of his fans. I hate him for avoiding the fight 5 years ago, false accusations of PEDS thereby giving boxing a black eye, and having no ***** in fights giving boring fights. And while i have mad respect for his skills, it just makes it worse coz he could have done so much more. He is legitimately hated and his fans just make it worse coz they can't even begin to grasp that.

 

There have been great and ATG boxers who were criminals dummy. That's just an excuse typical of pac****s to use an excuse because that's all you do. I guess you can't see how people can be a fan of Monzon, Hopkins, Liston, Tyson I could go on and on.

 

Fan support is what gets us too much exposure to any star, and unless you're a huge fan of them you'll definitely get tired of it and start disliking the star and hating the fans. When you'll start hating the star and how much depends on your meter of how much you liked or disliked them in the first place, and how much "overexposure" you feel they're getting. Overexposure can even get guys to say "please, enough of the Kardashian's" so I'm pretty sure that's what goes on here.

 

So, it's true you support criminals, I don't.

 

Find a new sport to follow then dummy boxing is full of criminals.:deal

 

I'm not a hipster, I don't give a **** about the fans. I love watching Kobe play and he has a lot of annoying fans.

 

Football = full of criminals

Baseball = full of criminals

Basketball = full of criminals

I guess i'll just stick with Chess or Ping Pong. :yep:yep

 

You don't get to dictate how people feel about any fighter for any reason.

For example. Many fans who say that they hate Pac and Floyd don't really hate either guy. I genuinely dislike Pac, and I have my reasons. But hate him, no. Respect him...as a fighter yes, but he doesn't have my full respect.

If it's ever proven that he never cheated, my outlook might change. That hope is dim and that day may never come since there was a time that he wasn't blood testing.

Now you might say that Pac has never cheated, but I have my suspicions. Evander "Evan Fields" Holyfield is in that same boat.

This forum is so strange.

I joined last week and commented that I thought Floyd would probably eek out a decision on May 2nd. It was a very innocuous post, just putting my 2 cents in. I was immediately informed that I was black and a racist, 2 things that were news to me. I was then informed that I "probably think Stevenson would KO Kovalev too" - because I'm black and a racist, I suppose.

I then went to a GGG thread and commented that he's my favorite active fighter, that I seriously doubt anyone in the MW division can hang in with him, and that the only man near his weight who I can see giving him trouble is Ward. I was then told that I was white and a racist who "nut-huggs Eastern-Europeans and probably thinks Kovalev would KO Adonis".
