Hattons dad and manager in radio interview this moring has stated Ricky Hattons next fight will be in the UK and against a "big name" American May time.

He stated Ricky will be fighting Witter at some point as Ricky feels its an unclosed book. But he states the american networks have no interest at all in this fight and it would be a shame to lose there interest at this time as they cant wait to have Ricky back.

He also states they want him back in the USA and they have several offers, but feels it is time to pay back the British fight fans loyalty with a home fight.

He states there are several big venues throughout England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales they can fight at. No mention of the MEN arena or Manchester? Wembley?

I think it will be malignaggi, because he was also talking about Ricky being best at 140. Could they fill wembley?

Malinaggi a light hitting speedster Hatton can abuse and walk through without getting KTFO they assume. I wonder if Malinaggi can jab and move his way to a points win? I will have to pomder this one

Ricky could fill Wembley no matter who he is fighting.

PS: I told you guys he wasn't ducking Witter. ;)

Yep, that's about the time of year that DLH comes out of hibernation to fight six rounds and then go back to sleep.

you'd have to be stupid if you're American to go there and expect to win. shady refereeing is worse in the UK than it is in the USA.

it would take a huge name to fill wembly. hatton vs mayweather 2 or cotto even witter because if the british background of the fight. take my word us brits dont care about a Malinaggi fight but hatton will always lead fans to his fights but wembly is a huge capacity
