So how much will Hatton weight? Any body think he may not make the weight limit for the fight?

Can't see it, he's never had a problem making 140. He was apparently 147 late last week so will probably cut those last few pounds fairly comfortably and go back to about 155 by fight time.

I think he will have to go for a quick 15 minute dash on the treadmill and an extended **** to get down to 140.

By fight time he will be 152ish

Can't wait for this fight now.

I am betting on Malignaggi UD.

Unless Mayweather Sr. has dramatically changed things I think he's getting outboxed all night.

Out of curiosity, which Paulie fight has suggested he can do this?

I've seen Paulie maybe 6 times and never seen anything to actually like, except his bravery when Cotto walloped him and he had a broken jaw.

Thats what I can't understand, how has Paulie got this "master boxer" reputation? He's got quick hands but his footwork is poor and he likes to fight in front of an opponent rather than at range. His record has 5 KO's and his best wins are Ndjoud and N'Dou.....

I sometimes think that people assume that, if you can't punch, you must be somekind of boxing genius.

People are going to be a bit suprised when the fight starts and it becomes apparant that Malignaggi isn't the better boxer...

because if Hatton and his dad keep fraudulently saying it people start believing it. He's not a master boxer at all, and he ain't a runner as many people are saying. Nor is he elusive. Paulie is pretty average and made his name in a beatdown loss against a drained Cotto, but I think he still can beat Hatton. I see Paulie having 6 ko wins on his record by Sunday morning, Hatton's chin is worse than ever.

Paulie is a good boxer but all his skills and strengths are below Hattons. The fight has been built up by publicity because Hatton knows he is on easy money in the 140 division when really if he wants to test himself he should go to Welter.

Why do you even bother posting on Hatton-related threads when you are incapable of offering an unbiased opinion?

You are just a hater, and want Paulie to win. Fine, no problem - but at least be realistic!

Nah I want Hatton to win.

I am not a big fan of Hattons any more but I still want the guy to do well and in the 140 division he will not find a better opponent than Paulie. I would just prefer him to go up and face Marg or Cotto.

Hatton say's the change of opponent and the way he added weight for the Collazo fight was the problem for his poor showing and I take his word for it, against PBF he fought a modern great so now he has the opportunity to beat a guy in Marg that is big but not unbeatable and Cotto who has been a little exposed. Berto would be a good fight too, it would be nice to see another hype yank exposed.

This fight against Paulie should be no real test unless Hatton is ****ed, I still think he has a few fights in him and the change of trainer hopefully will do him well.

My problem with his weight in another thread is serious because of the previous shortcomings of Sr to get fighters to the limit in time.

I am not buying the ppv but may change my mind depending on how my Saturday turnes out, I usually leave it late.

Haha, is there nothing you can't blame on Ricky Hatton?!
