I'm just one of the lads...off for a session with Mr Guiness...its not a tickling contest...thats what ricky hatton's all about.....just one of the lads.....amazing to think that wayne rooney/oasis are leading me out to the ring and personal friends....don't be fooled by the rocks that i go i'm still ricky from the block....etc etc...

Who the **** talks about themselves like that? Can you imagine saying your own name when talking about yourself? How much of a ***** do you have to be to do that?

 

What are the odds on a Hatton victory inside the distance and does he really stand a chance? If he wins does it really open doors and if so, for how long? He's surely getting on a bit and his best days are behind him. (That's a serious point BTW - he should be thinking about his future health.)

As for talk of tempting Mayweather out of retirement - get real. Okay Hatton brings over a quite a few fans but is there massive interest in him stateside? I honestly don't know the answer to that last bit but suspect that there's only hardcore interest in him - I'm pretty sure that he's not the household name he is back home.

His brother getting on the bill is another issue. Why?

Bottom line is that I'll probably watch it and hope he wins - the Brit angle and all that. This one seems like the poor relation of the fights of the past few weeks... yet at one stage it looked interesting.

Why do we need to see him? He hasn't done **** and he doesn't even deserve it. He should be infront of 50 men in a small stadium.

 

I'm in full agreement - Hatton is spouting **** there.

Its one thing to probaly be the best pound for pound fighter at a certain point in time - as Mayweather was when he fought Hatton - quite another thing to be the best of all times.

Mayweather is not the best fighter of the last TEN YEARS - I mean that fully seriously.

Boxing has a rich and long history - and there are other Welterweight greats who would have done a far quicker and convincing job on Hatton then Mayweather did - who after all is a mediorce puncher at World level.

Can you imagine a prime Tommy Hearns fighting Hatton at Welterweight - Hatton would be out of there long before round 10:deal

This is part of the reason iv lost all interest in Hatton and havent bothered buying alot of his recent fights.

The way he goes on about himself in the third person and states over and over that he lost money by putting these fights on at a decent hour for the fansatsch

Not to mention hes like the light-welterweight John Ruiz these days.

 

He has always sounded a bit up himself, depends which side of the fence you sit..i personally cant stand him yet i can stand Malinaggi who is a loud mouth

Hatton in the ring has annoyed me more than out of the ring however, 2 fights a year, cant step up without losing, grab grab hold hold punch

I know people that met him and say he is sound but i still wont change my mind him...a dose of ****
