Yeah Hatton has BEEN ducking Witter, He'll do and say EVERYTHING in his power not to fight Witter. He's been hoping that Witter would get knocked out along the way so he wouldnt have to fight him. Now that Witter is one of the top 140lbers Hatton claims he wont fight him because he's been talkin too much **** about Hatton in the press.. Big ****in deal, Didn't hatton talk **** about Mayweather and Mayweather gave him the fight?? Hatton doesn't want it with Witter.

 

Hatton fights Tszyu and Mayweather, but he is afraid of Witter because Witter is so superior to Tszyu and Mayweather! Give me a break!

Hatton knew losing to Tszyu or PBF would not finish or expose him, he had a load of ready made uxcuses to fall back on and he used them.
Losing to Witter would shatter the myth and expose him as not even the best 140lber in the UK. Losing to Witter....Hatton IS scared of that. The evidence it irrefutible.

Its all well and good fighting PBF and Kostya thats fine. But lets look at this objectively rather than from a fanboy perspective. Kostya came to the UK. He brought his name his reputation and a whole lot of cash to the fight. Hatton won no shame there at all. There was much to gain and NOTHING to loose. The same can be said of PBF. The media really augmented this bout and got behind it like no other. There was a pot of at least $40m for either fighter who took home record sums aswell as the TV networks scooping massive profits aswell as the gambling arena`s. Again there was NOTHING to loose by fighting the best fighter in the world and being paid handsomely to do it.

Witter, like Hatton did vs Kostya has worked himself into title contention. His the world ranked number 2 and DESERVES HIS SHOT THE SAME AS HATTON DID. But the diffrence here is Hatton has EVERYTHING TO LOOSE AND NOTHING TO GAIN. Witter brings no big name, no large football fan base or fan base for that matter. But he is VERY dangerous and poses high risk for very little reward much like Herol Graham another Ingle fighter.Hatton has every ounce of respectability and credibility to loose if he lost to Witter in a devastating fashion.Team Hatton are aware of thsi fact. Why arent you? Considering he has a style which has ALWAYS been favored to beat Hatton surely even an idiot like you can see that.:roll:

I'm from the states so I can only offer my point of view not knowing all the insides cross the pond.

I think Hatton knows that Witter is a serious threat. Usually when you have these types of "threats" you either dismiss them as the person not being viable or shut them up depending on the money.

Witter brings a legitmate belt and has even offered to take shorter money or my personal favorite a winner take all. To me if you have real confidence in your skills, the latter is definitely an appealing option. Also, with both of these fighters from the UK I could see this being huge there.

It would be much better than Hatton fighting those WBU stiffs thats for sure.. They know that this not only is a tough match for Hatton but it's a stylistic nightmare.

 

Hatton's typical excuse that Witter brings to profile to the table is hillarious and pathetic. What profile does this loser that he's fighting next bring?

Witter V Hatton would be huge in Britain, marketed on the back of all the bad blood and the domestic settlement, not to mention, that, oh, it's 1 v 2 in the division.

Hatton truely has no excuse not to fight him. There could not be a more blatant example of ducking.
