Didn`t think Pacquiao would win this but now i reckon Hatton will suffer on his way to a stoppage loss.Pacquiao being slightly smaller is irrelevant.
The only round Hatton won clearly is the 5th. I dont know how people give Hatton the first when PBF was landing lead right hands at will. People got mislead when PBF foot got tangled with Hattons and stumbled back and everyone thought Hatton rocked him.
Hatton could take a bigger beating or he can KO Pacquaio, or he can KO Pacquaio and still take a bigger beating
There's a big difference between fighting Mayweather at 147 and Pacquiao at 140 from Ricky's point of view. Ricky is natural at 140 - remember the Tszyu fight? - and while Manny is the superior P4P fighter of the two he is unlikely to be the better 140-pound fighter. Hatton is almost as fast, stronger, bigger, has similar skills and puts on relentless pressure. Hatton's whole legacy rests on this fight whereas Manny is already proven. Ricky will be hungrier and more techinically proficient under Floyd Snr. Hatton TKO10 PacMan
The only reason I myself looks at that Floyd fight is not to point out who was winning the fight in terms of the score cards. But to look at what Hatton was able to do in that fight, Floyd had to put in rounds in order to get control of that fight, and that control never really came until the knock out. Floyd was not comfortable the pace was not where he wanted it to be, though he was winning the majority of the fight, it was still not a Mayweather fight, it was more of Hattons style of a fight. and if Hatton has enough in him to make Floyd the P4P king fight his fight he will do that with Pacquiao, Floyd is Strong maybe not one shot Kayo power but over all he is a strong little dude, and Hatton was able to bully him and push him back and kept Floyd fighting his kind of fight up until the bitter end. its not about how the scores looked or what damage Hatton was able to do, it was and is IMO the fact that Hatton was able to make Mayweather step outside of his own game and beat him another way.
You wanna bet? Hand speed and balance? You must have seen Pacman fight in your dreams....because he can't box like that in real life, nor has he ever been able too.....that includes tomorrow night.:bbb
What a stupid thread, Manny is not floyd and he never will be. He does not have the same defence or skills. Everybody who Floyd fought, lost to him, stop trying to put Hatton down for losing against him too, and here is short quote from Floyd after the fight. "He was one of my hardest fights, I hit him with some hard shots and he just kept coming, I know why they call him the Hitman" I doubt Manny with have the same power as Floyd. Don't get upset when I say this but, Manny is NOT a god! Ricky Hatton made a good point in an interview actually here is another quote but this one is from Ricky Hatton. "The way people go on about him [Manny], he shouldn't be fighting me, he should be fighting godzilla" And one final thought for you pac-tards. Hatton Is Undefeated At This Weight And More Hungry Then Ever, Do You Really Think A Small Less Powerful Guy Is Going To Stop Him? Manny has never been tested like this before, sorry but I firmly believe that Pacmans dream ride comes to an end in less then 36 hours time. But I am not against Manny, I think he is great, and an amazing icon for the sport, I am however against his biased and slightly ******ed fans who treat him like the god he truly isn't. Hatton win within 8 rounds.
Great post, I think reality is going to hit them once they see that Hatton can take the shots and that he is fighting back once they see Manny actually in a fight, Man the excuses from them will start to fly. I like Hatton in this fight, TKO in the last third of the bout, I think right around the 9th round your going to see Manny in trouble it might just end there, I think the size and the youth and the power that hatton has will all be factors in this fight.
Exactly I think he is going to have to make things rough on the smaller Pac man if he does this, He will win this fight, if he does the bull charging **** he did with Floyd he will get caught comming in. I think the feints will be key here as well try to get manny to make a false move then make him pay for that.
If you scored the fight correctly it should look something like this 1. Floyd Mayweather (could have been even but Floyd landed like 3-4 right hands flush to end the round) 2. Hatton 3. Floyd (could have went either way, but I scored it for Floyd based on clean punching) 4. Floyd (Clear Floyd round) 5. Hatton (best Hatton round of the night) 6. Floyd (With the deduction 10-8 round for Floyd, Lederman is ****ing blind) 7. Floyd (clear Floyd round) 8. Floyd (clear Floyd round) 9. Floyd (could have been a 10-8 round, simply based on ring generalship, talking Willie Pep type round here)
Look at David Diaz. Even Kendall Holt couldn't ko him face first to the canvas like Manny did. Hatton's biggest flaw is the way he charges in hands by his waist; against average fighters, he can get away with this. But vs world caliber, he's going to get crucified. And he can't change that; that's the way he learned to fight. And did Hatton ? He beat an aging Tszyu at home with the help of his ref. In any other location, he should have lost that fight because his maulings tactics wouldn't have been allowed. He lost to Collazo. He hardly won a rd vs PBF. His chin has to be questioned ( i think Diaz has a better chin than him), and his lifestyle already led to a net decline in his last performances. Ricky is ripe for the taking by a true PFP king.
