FM hits far harder then Pac, and he is also just as fast if not faster. Pac throws alot of combos and he is accurate but he sometimes is all over the place. I see Hatton pulling it off if his chin can take mannys power.
Again the collazo fight hatton won a majority decision, all this bollocks he won 7 rounds of that fight.
Well, Pac weighed 147 in the ring vs Diaz. Hatton came in at 152 vs Paulie. 5 pounds difference. Another factor to consider is Hatton boils down to 140 from 175. He has to lose some strenght in this process. Pac adds to his strenght by going up in weight. His body was excellent vs Diaz, and lost no speed while adding power. The more the fight goes the more tired Ricky will get.
I had Ricky winning the Collazo fight by 2 rounds but it was far from his best performance and that last round was 10-8 to Collazo for me. Even so, that was 147 and this is 140. When I heard this fight was at 140 - seems ages ago now - I was so glad because Ricky is a beast at 140. As for Tszyu being old... up to a point but he hit Hatton with some hard, fast shots and Ricky didn't go anywhere. And Mitchell couldn't take those shots for more than a couple of rounds. Full respect to Manny Pacquiao - he and Juan Manuel Marquez are the best P4P guys out there at the minute. But PacMan will have his hands full with Ricky, especially when he finds his range in the second half of the fight. I think Manny will be lucky to go the distance with a well prepared Hatton.
Hatton will not lose confidence )worst case he'll revert to his 'bulldozer' tactics) and Pacquiao's punches are not harder than floyds'. Ask the one man that would know....Oscar!!!!! So that's that opinion out the window!!!!!! All you Pac fans must respect Oscar considering you seem to base all your estimations on pacquiao's win.His win...whilst emphatic is also irrelevant, amir khan could have beaten Oscar that night!!!! Even HIS chin could have held up to oscar's attack( or lack thereof ) I'm telling you, even if Hatton reverts to his 'old' ways... Hatton will be allowed to work inside (like in the paulie fight = same ref) and he can win this. Look at their body language.... Finally, the main excuses 'we' Hatton fans had of the Mayweather fight was that Hatton was too wound up and Cortez just frustrated him further. (floyd was scarily good aswell) however, in the build up to this one, I think Hatton looks calm and slightly pissed, rather than fuming. The closer the fight gets the more confident he seems.... Not so with Manny and definately not with Roach.
in regards to the topics in red. Tszysu fought a full hard 12 rounds and has more power than Manny Pacquiao and Hatton took those shots for 12 until he made KT retire, So Hattons chin is and has been tested he can hold his own, Sure KT was older, but so were Morales Barrera and DLH yet Pac groupies seem to hold on to these wins as if Pac beat these guys in their prime thats far from the truth and you know it. officially its a win, take note Collazo is a skilled fighter, who just gave Berto a beating, However Pacquiao did lose to a washed up Morales, I would rather see Hatton having a loss to a fighter in his prime going into this fight than to see him lossing to someone clearly past it thats for sure. You keep referring to David Diaz like he is something special, the kid struggled with a shot down Erik Morales it was a gimme type fight he was never a threat to Manny so why are you talking about Diaz? The only recent fights that Pacquiao has had against a top notch fighter in their prime is JMM and after 24 rounds and 4 knock downs Pacquiao only beat him by a single point. Now you want to question Hattons chin? How many times did Pacquiao get stopped? twice officially however Nidel Hussein did knock him out in which that fight Manny recieved a very very long count... Stop tring to convince yourself with this rubbish, sure you want Manny to win but please bring something real to the thread next time this **** is just weak.
1) This is something Ricky has done his entire career and hasnt had a loss at 140 doing this so its not an issue. 2) The more the fight goes the more Pacquiao will get tired, Rickys Style and size will wear down the smaller Pac its best if Pac take care of business quick.
How can you say that pac just adds strength... he fought DLH and if he had a baseball bat and an hour he couldn't knock him down. Pacquiao's strength at 140 is unknown, but considering De la Hoya said that it was the speed that he felt rather than power and it took Mayweather 10 rounds to stop Hatton.(floyd hits harder than Pac at 147) I don't think that his power is going to be of the KO variety. Ricky always comes into fights in peak condition. Floyd has only trained Hatton for one fight and he looked fresh in the 11th against Paulie. Never mind the fact that his condition pre camp was much better and he has had a longer camp. The only way Hatton could tire is if he has overcooked it and I guess we'll find out in a few Hours
I think that is a bit more of Self Ownage, I mean **** David Diaz? who the **** is he? and then these pac tards want to talk about KT being older, which is true, yet they claim Oscar wasnt:-( Truth is KT had enough in him to fight back and Ricky showed himself in that fight, Sure some will argue that Hatton fouled and fought dirty, That isnt the whole story, the truth is KT started with that dirty **** and when Hatton noticed the ref didnt do anything he fought fire with fire and beat him at his own game. You cant tell me KT is a clean fighter, there are fights out there that prove other wise. However that is meaningless to this fight, the truth is the only thing Manny has going on for him in this fight is the experience he got in fighting JMM twice, none of his other big wins mean enough to even matter here those guys were all done.
Margarito took Cintron shots without blinking, yet got KOD by 37 year old Mosley. Does Mosley hit harder than Cintron ? It's all about speed and snap. Tszyu had power, but the snap on his punches was gone, and he couldn't get full leverage on his shots. Manny is fast and has good timing and balance. His punches will hurt Hatton because Hatton will lead into Manny's punches, (or will cut him at worst.) Because for all his flaws, Diaz has a granite like chin, that nor Morales or Holt could really break the way Pac did. It's all on tape. :smoke Actually i agree he won by a single point. But Marquez is a much better fighter PFP than Hatton. His technique and strategy in the ring is far superior to anything Ricky ever produced. That's weak. Manny's defeats came when he was starving to make lower weight, and had not developed his full arsenal like now. Hatton's chin has been cracked good, and his lifestyle will further worsen this problem. I already put my money where my mouth is; i'm trying to make others profit. :hi:

There is no shape Margo could have been in to absorb that kind of punishment off of Mosley. Fighting shape had virtually nothing to do with this fight compared to styles and a perfect gameplan from Shane. Mosley is the superior fighter. Mosley is every inch as physically strong. And this wasn't even a prime Mosley. Try again. Saying Solis is nothing special is pretty offhanded. He's not elite, but he's got solid wins over a whole cast of contenders from 126 to 130, and was undefeated before Manny. Right, because twelve years ago, Manny was a finished product. Of course weight had something to do with it, a teenager with far from perfected technique facing off with any fighter with grown man strength is going to be at a disadvantage. You take hard shots in this game, and KOs can happen. And as far as "nothing to do with it" goes, tell me what those losses have to do with tomorrow night. Manny isn't even the same fighter he was when he beat Barrera, and you are resurrecting Thai cabbies.
