well i guess a guy who pretty much dominated a weight division for 3 years while in the process defeating a true ATG in KT doesnt deserve a tag of 'modern great', i'd be pretty confident to think that after this fight if hatton moves back down he can go on to dominate lww for the next two to three.the attitude and will hatton has shown throughout his career is an admirable characteristic that not too many p4p top 10s can say they hold, and for you to turn round and try to belittle me by making a racial comment is a step too far mate.
get a grip and accept a top athlete and boxer.
so i guess if hatton wins on saturday night he must be a top 10 ATG?or is it pbfs a bum and shouldnt be a p4p top 5.

I dont need people to jump on my bandwago, because I can think for myself, unlike all you U.K. lemmings who swallow all the hype about Hatton on a purely nationalistic level. I have objectivity, and you and 'words' have agendas that we can see for miles.

If Hatton beats PBF ill happily declare him an elite level fighter. In fact I think I already have. You people are so defensive. The point im making is that Hattons resume is much more impressive than his performances. I do give him credit, but he is overhyped. Anyway Floyds fists will testify this in far more eloquent fashion than I can.

i very much doubt that his fist can compare to your complicated jargon and construction of language which have truly put forward an inherent agenda against the hatton 'bandwagon' when all the british show is an innate support for a fighter who has shown nothing but heart,will and skill through the entirety of his career,i'm afraid,my american foe, that it is you who simply his shortcomings through a collage of smokescreen and mirrors.
as it was with the post you were owned in,we have yet to get an intelligent response,i think that's testiment to your own agenda.

O.K. the vast majority of Pre-Tszyu fights were against bums and has-beens. None of these wins mean anything.

But we can observe that he was knocked down aganst McGee and he didnt really look as impressive against some of his B- grade opposition as an elite fighter would. Take Ben Tackie, for example. Look at he way Tszyu put Tackie away and compare that with the Hatton fight. There is a massive difference in class here.

The Tszyu fght was a great effort but less a great effort in boxing than strategy, hit and hold fighting, doing anything to takes in your hometown with a biased referee, (deliberately punching in the testicles and getting a soft warning) etc. Tszyu it must be said didnt look his usual self but when he could get his arms free he was landing sweet counters. In the middle rounds of the fight, the 'meat' of the fight, Tszyu won and gave glimpses of his natural superiority over Hatton. But he'd fought 6 rounds in 3 years or something, and was 35, so he clearly wasnt prepared to take 12 rounds of Hattons pressure. He got gassed and fell in a hole and was TKO'd. All in all a great, career boosting win for Hatton but because of the way he did it objective observers didnt really credit him as much as they might have for such a big win.

Since then, Maussa wow. He never should have been a titilist in the first place. He won his belt with a fluke KO. Hatton looks ordinary putting away this fraud.

Collazo dont need to say much about this fight. Probably should have been scored a draw. Hatton got tagged all night and knocked down in the 12th and nearly knocked out on his feat. Collazo spent too much time infighting but when he boxed he made Hatton look B grade. But anyway, the new welterweight champion isRicky the HitMan Hatton.

Looked average against an old, shot, underprepared, dispirited Castilo and then landed a savage body blow. Props for the body punch, probably the most impressive hit in Hattons career.

Hattons is truly a smoke and mirrors career his big wins are shrouded in question marks and his other wins are meaningless.

So if Hatton wins, it must mean that PBF was overhyped B+ fighter who was lucky to be P4P no1 and you'll be looking like a grade A c*nt

I'm picking Floyd to win by wide UD, but you really do come across as a pretentious **** in this thread, which really doesn't serve your purpose of trying to discredit a boxer you have an obvious dislike for very well.

Well yeah. Tszyu boxed really well for those 12 rounds. There is nothing inherently rong with going 12 rounds. That was one of Tszyu better boxing performances, actually. His 12 rounds against Tackie show a class difference when compared to Hattons.

There was nothing 'complicated' involved in my post, its was clear and to the point. Your 'innate support' of Hatton can otherwize be understood as blind hugging. I am not an American, my U.K. chum.
