Is it only me that finds Hattons desperate attempts to prove he's a normal, down to earth guy even more irritating than Mayweathers constant money-talk??

I swear if I see another bit of footage of Hatton down the pub playing darts with his mates I'm going to put my foot through the ****ing TV

On top of that, Hatton sounds like Orville the duck in interviews, no way does Floyd get beaten by a man that sounds like that. Mayweather TKO.

I don't have a problem with it and I don't think it's as extreme as you make it out to be. I think when you get used to seeing "Money May" and his antics, anyone behaving normally may seem extreme compared to that ****.

I think you'd have to be a seriously biased individual to have an assessment like this.

It IS as extreme as I make it out to be - every ****ing fight for about the last 5 years there's always been some ****, usually Hatton or a family member, banging on about him playing darts with his friends on a Thursday night. It's irritating in the extreme....if he was so ****ing normal he wouldn't see it as a big deal to still play darts with his friends and therefore wouldn't go on about it half as much as he does.

yeah, i dont like that either. if you are so normal, stay the **** off tv and do your **** in private.......you know, like normal people do. dont bring along a ****ing camera.

and what normal about a fighter heading to a pub during his final preperation for the biggest fight of his life???:huh

this is all just for tv........too much sucking up to the public imo.

    That is just

It does get a bit annoying. Like he is trying to prove he's not a weirdo or a dumbass.

You just have to accept it, mate. I mean, e's a Jack the lad- that's why people like him. I mean, hether he wants to project his honest opinion- which is why people like him- is up to him, you know? What would you expect from a guy who is honest about being a Jack the lad- that's why people like him? Like he says, he has his fans who worship him like the Second Coming because he's a down-to-earth guy.

I'm a big fan of Hatton, but in his attempts to promote the fight, he's created a cartoonist persona (and his own twisted version of the human language: "Honest Jack the Laddic") that can get very frustrating. I actually prefer boxers like Lennox Lewis and Joe Calzaghe, who at least are unreserved in their aloofness and egotism. But hey- at least Hatton's honest about it, that's why people like him.

What people fail to realise is he is probably asked a load of ****ing questions about his following and support. What is he supposed to say?

If you hadn't noticed the blindingly obvious, on 24/7 they have tried their best to portray Hatton as down to earth, and Mayweather as the bad guy
