People have to stop with all this bull**** about a fighter's natural weight. There really isn't a such thing except when discussing "the best" all-time at a particular weight, prime for prime. We have all seen the atg fighters, and the great fighters of this generation jump up in weight to obtain more titles, recognition, and build a better resume.

So let's just stop with this garbage about Hatton being a natural 140, or Trinidad being a natural 147, or Winky being a natural 147, etc.

People just use that as an excuse when fighters lose. Duran jumped up in weight, so did SRL, so did Hearns, so did PBF and DLH.

Don't you think that enough is enough with it? It makes a difference when Cotto was draining himself to fight at 140, and he was fighting someone bulking up from 135, but does it matter most of the time? I say NO.

PBF beat an "in his prime" world champion in Hatton, PERIOD.

    Any thoughts???

Right...the thing is, throughout boxing history, many significant fights involved naturally bigger vs. naturally smaller. How do you gauge a guy like Hearns fighting at 147, but with shoulders for 160? Or Paul Williams? or Miguel Cotto at 140? or Toney or Jones at 160? I mean great fighters move up. It's natural...I don't talk down on Hopkins for beating Trinidad at 160...but a lot of people would...

PBFs natural (walking around) weight is i´d say about 154.

hattons is around 180.....maybe a bit higher. depends on the special offers offered at mcdonalds....

-Floyd started his career at 130. Hatton at 140.

-Hatton was 145 on the scales. Only 5 more pounds.

-Hatton was 154 lbs. the night of the fight. He always fights in that weight, except in the Collazo fight.

-The night of the fight, Hatton has heavier than Mayweather.
