this is all bull**** those two guys aren't going to split. There is nothing absolutely nothing that ANY trainer can do to change Ricky Hatton's style. He will be the same Hatton until the day he retires.

This is sad. If it's true, I didn't think Hatton was like that.

Probably because they wernt as low and they werent deliberate. In fact one of them was questionably a knockdown. Mot likely it would have been considered that way in America. Why would anyone want to fight in Manchester? :think

I just watched the HBO broadcast last night and I think Graham did as good of job as he could in the corner.

He gave him good advice, told Hatton he was smothering himself and needed to give himself a bit more room to punch.

Hatton landed body shots but hardly any clean head punches. He seemed so eager to get on the inside but once he rushed on the inside and tided up with floyd, he seemed like he didnt know what to do from there. The it gets broken up or they work out and PBF throws some counters. Repeat repeat repeat, that was the entire fight.

It wouldnt have mattered who was in his corner, Hatton just didnt have what it would take to beat PBF on that night. They underestimated PBF's strength and stamina and elbows. They thought Hatton could bully around PBF and tire him out. PBF was much stronger and had a better inside game than they thought. There wasnt any trainer in the world that could have gotten Hatton a win that night.
