Yeah and also when he was hurt he brought it to the Refs attention that his shoe lace was untied. And the Ref kept warning Lazcano for no reason

Nobody said that Hatton undid his own shoelaces the point is you dont ****in stop the action ESPECIALLY when that fighter is hurt and his opponent almost had him knocked down and in serious trouble!! And you need to take off your Queen Elizabeth tinted glasses because you're forgetting that Hatton fought a career 135 ****in lber!! And he was almost stopped by him.. Paulie fought a legit 140lber in Ndou.

A ref IS supposed to halt a fight to ensure laces are tied up. Thats a fact. Hell, a ref even had to halt a fight so a ****** could get his hair tied back in a pony tail....

rofl he was never near being stopped

and as i said angelo dundee cut ali's glove to give him a break against cooper, now that is cheating, but tripping over your shoe laces can cause injury **** it would be diff if it was mayweather

I must have been watching a different fight because the only person I saw being close to stopped was Lazcano.

If a shoelace was untied then a ref rightly will break the action. Some of you are doing Foster a disservice and are actually making out that it had some major bearing on the fight! It's pathetic.

    Almost knocked down? Serious trouble??

    Pffft.....

I just can't be ****ed anymore but I'll expect the same old rhetorical bull**** to be regurgitated by Mr Brooklyn.

Yeah but you stop the fight when there is a lull in the action not when the guy is hurt and the other guy is about to drop his ass! That's common sense obviously you Hatton fans don't have that or don't want to see that.

There was a lull in the action when the untied shoelace was brought to the referees attention and he took Hatton to the corner to have it retied.

Are you sure you watched the fight? :?

Wow, Hatton fans can't take the bashing.
But they can sure deal it when it comes to Floyd.
It's just part of the sport - you're only as good as your last fight; and quite frankly Hatton didn't look good so he's gonna get bashed.
When he destroys that weak *****, Paulie, he will be back on top of the world

    Don't worry

I could have sworn that the accepted 'wisdom' :)lol:) on ESB was that referees let Hatton clinch too much?

Now all of a sudden people are whinging that they don't allow enough clinching?

Now wonder Joe Cortez is so confused about whether he should break clinches or not. Poor Joe.
