hatton and mayewetaher senior can it be a success

Might do him some good, a change of trainers can inspire a more positive and fresh approach.... If it can give him the confidence to box at middle to close range where he used to do most of his impressive work then it can only be a good thing.

I think Mayweather Snr did a good job on Guzman despite what people said after his last fight. Not sure what he can do for a come forward bruiser though.

 

First thing I thought "is Hatton gonna be doing the pads in the same way he made fun of Floyd for doing".

I just hope Mayweather can give Hatton some finesse and consistency. Calm him down, get him a defence, work the body consistently etc

 

A leopard cant change its spots....but that doesnt mean Hatton wont adapt his style somewhat, where not talking a full overhaul, its too late in the day for that, but there is gonna be tweaks...

His lateral movement will be brought back to the forefront, as it should be, also slips, range and handspeed etc, i have pondered it a while firstly thinkin its a crazy meld of minds but i now only think it can benefit Hatton, he gonna take what he has got and simply add some salt and pepper !

Regardless of what we think of MW Senior's attitude the guy knows fighting and hopefully will sharpen Ricks ageing tools and maybe even inspire him a tad....which is what he needs after that loss and all the ****-talk from haters / journalists !

For gods sake TFFP in all fairness Billy has been wearing a camera on his head so they can review the footrest footage to make sure they left no technical rock unturned !!!!!
