Hatton won one round and he is unquestionably a dirty fighter; Hatton's m.o is to leap in with a left, clinch and walk his smaller weaker opponent to the ropes (not allowed in the rules), stick the top of his head in their face, throw to the body or below the belt and leap back. e's been allowed to do it his whole career because they were home town fights and the referee's knew the script so the clinches were never broken up, proper warnings not given, pointsot deducted etc. Hatton moaning about Cortez is a joke, he should keep his gob shut and reflect on how all his opponents in manchester must have felt while getting the same treatment which he thinks he got.

 

Cortez can't be held accountable for his job as the ref... because he wasn't fighting? You are such a brilliant poster. I never said that Hatton would have won if Cortez had done a better job. That doesn't mean that I wouldn't have liked to see that fight take place with a fair ref.

hatton was not even in the fight the only round i gave him was the 5th and even that was because mayweather took a break after opening up on him in the 4th. Even in the 5th you'd be hard pressed to find a decent solid punch or combo that really landed flush or had an impact on floyd. Guys who thought he was ah.ead at the 6th jus plain dont know how to score it hatton was eating leather everytime he came in dont act like his aggression was effective
