LOL Yup his words came back to haunt him. He didnt move out of the way of those "pitty pat" punches.. He should of taken his own advice and he wouldnt have smashed his big english head into the turnbuckle lol
Ricky was the one that disrespected Floyd first , and realy badly aswell when he said what he said after the Castllo fight , about giving more excitement in that fight than Mayweather has in his whole career. And it was Ricky who was complaining all the time about Floyd dissing him ??? Then when Floyd won he had nothin but excuses , he had a bit of a point with the referee argument , but he wasnt gonna win that fight , when it come down to the part of the fight where we were finding out who was gna win , there was only one winner . I havent heard Ricjy say the better man won yet. People say bad things about Tyson's attitude , but Ricky could learn from the great one (Tyson)
most people are like sheep and don't think for themselves or make their own observations. They just follow the old 'Wicky is a great guy, one of us routine'.
I know, Ricky aint as genuine as people think aswell , he is , but to a degree . He acts like hes not bothered about money , whatever . He luvs the stuff , just like Mayweather , but Mayweather doesnt lie about it . If Ricky is so loyal to his fans then he wouldnt just be fighting in America so much , is it true that he hasnt fought in Manchester since Kosta Tszyu ? The one guy who realy is genuine and doesnt care about fame is Calzage , he just wants credit for what he does . Like him or not , he is genuine . Im English and i h8 patriotism in boxing , its silly imol
I agree with the patriotism in boxing - it's two men fighting representing themselves and their gym ( at a stretch ) - nothing to do with national borders - unlike football with world cups etc. Your other point though about Hatton fighting abroad - if he had stayed at home he would have been slaughtered for that too - hometown decisions etc.
tell me what was nasty? I honestly don't remember anything nasty, just stuff like Hatton is ducking him etc. Hardly unusual in boxing.
Good point, i still think Hatton changed round about the Urango fight though , his atitude and he became cocky . He was on his way to looking like 1 of the best 140 pounders ever , ut at that time he had no right to diss Mayweather . He was becoming cocky , thats not a bad thing , it is when your being two-faced though and telling your fans that your just some regularly guy and the money hasnt changed you when it has . Thats what i meant by that post
