while Ricky and his court were having problems a handful of young fighters were kept waiting & waiting and the boys left in charge didn't do well except to maintain there own livelihood...

young fighters were forgotten and cheated out of there hard worked time & commitment. monies were lost as well as people, possibility and contacts. as well as Ricky and the families personal loss.

Ill feel sorry for the young lads who were brought on board and promised a career in boxing. they are the victoms, them and the cost to their own families!!!

Pretty poor at the moment- he has a TV deal with Boxnation yet doesn't use it.

 

we knew a couple of the fighters, spoke with them, a leading trainer, start dates for lads and other talks and insight with the camp. Why?

 

well as a Promoter I think Ricky would have been fine, but at the time he was facing his own demons and the people left to hold the fort didn't, but it was only those poor lads that 'they' took on board really suffered, them and their families.

now a few years on I think the whole Hatton project won't materialise as it lost too much and all the momentum. Maybe, just maybe as Ricky gets older he might go both barrels at it, but as he was too young and having to much going on, it was managed well enough, nothing that was said would be done was. So it might all be over. Who knows.
