    Ducked Junior Witter??

Man that point of view is seriously lame. Hatton would murder Witter, Witter is not in Hatton's league. He doesn't need to fight and has never needed to fight Witter to prove anything. Why would a man who beat one of the best ever 140lb fighters and a world class ex 135lber need Junior Witter on their resume????

Junior Witter is a disrespectul B class fighter at best. For too long he has ridden on the Hatton's coat tail. I imagine when he's in his 70's he'll still be calling out Hatton.

I for one wish the fight would be made just to see him knocked out in the mid rounds. Although Witter is probably shot now and past his prime of course

Don't get me wrong. I'm sure there are good young fighters floating around at 140, but right now I don't see anyone who's built the reputation to be an impressive win for Hatton. It's not his fault that there just aren't that many 140 pounders with an impressive resume. His best fights are probably taking more 135 pounders moving up.... but there's the problem. There are more money fights at 135 than 140. 140 is just a bad weight to be at right now.

If Hatton wants to really make a legacy kind of mark, it's going to in a superfight at 147. If he takes one of the big welters and loses, most fans aren't going to give the guy who beat him a lot of credit due to how weak he looked in his single 147 fight. So what welter would want to risk it when they can aim for other established 147 opponents?

I think a fight with Mosley would be good. Mosley is a small 147.

It makes me laugh the amount of people on here tho who seem to know 100% that someone ' ducked ' anotehr fighter, like they personally know thefighter lol

making fights is not always a simple process

hatton beat castillo fair and square, anyone who bitches amount clinching and holding needs to find another sport and realise boxing is not a tickling match.

and hatton was the first person to make castillo take a 10 count

and whatever you say, they aren't many other in the bracket who wouldve have done castillo in 4, certainly not mayweather.

Why the **** were they hoolis? Did they batter the Mexicans? Did it go off anywhere inside or outside the stadium? Any fights arranged pre-Hatton fight?

No! They just sung a bit and they didn't even sing the abusive or violent songs you hear at football matches.

****ing hooligans! You haven't got a clue!

Why does it always come down to "American Arrogance"? We're not allowed to critique a European fighter without being deemed "arrogant", but you Britts are allowed to have blind love for fighters based solely on National Pride to the point where you refuse to admit the fighter might not be the best. Face it, regardless of where he is from Hatton is a dirty fighter who uses excessive clinching and wrestling to force his opponents into submission.

Not at all, Hatton is more loved by the US Media than Floyd, and noone more loved than Oscar...

And Defensive fighting, avoiding blows, stick and move, THATS ****ING BOXING, grappling, wrestling, throwing oponants and headbutting, THATS NOT.

Do you **** on Ruiz at all? He's an American fighter who get's "blazed" by just about everyone for his clinching, yet in his last 4 fights he's initiated almost no grabs, whereas Hatton hasn't thrown a shot without a clinch.

Personally i dont see how any of us posters have the right to hate on any fighters. Yes you may not like a boxers style, his attitude or his level of competition, but bottom line is everyone of these guys puts their lives on the line everytime they step through the ropes....and its all done for OUR VIEWING PLEASURE.

If you dont like watching a fighter then switch the ****ing tv off!

No it is not. Stick and move, that's the key to the sport. You're watching the worng sport man, UFC is on Spike TV now.
